As for my take, if EB or an EB remake went mobile and nowhere else?I'd kill myself. It's why I'm putting it in the DS section.....cuz ,a DS port (if this is INDEED EB related, would be rad as ).

That said, this is high on my "unlikely"meter.

But GODDAMN, it's uncanny.

It's most likely the Roid version/spin-off of "Ninokuni: The Another World" for the DS, a collaboration between Level-5 and Studio Ghibli. I was wondering where I heard of this DS game before, and the GWI link above reminded me that it's that game that uses patterns and other info in the included hardcover book.

As for Roid's "Ninokuni: The Another World," there are a few theories I can think of:
0% - The art-style a homage to the Mother series, little to no involvement.
50% - Level-5 is just using the artists from the Mother series, and they're staying in their comfort zone.
100% - This game will involve Itoi and most or all of the trilogy's staff members. It may or may not be related to Mother.

On a related note, I didn't know this universe had the ability to contain the level of awesome a Level 5/Studio Ghibli collaboration would generate. If you tossed Itoi in there, I'm quite certain all the molecules of our collective reality would burst apart, revealing a brief spark of prism'd light, and then silent darkness forevermore.
