This deal is mentioned in other threads, but I thought its hot enough for its own thread.

Stranglehold for Xbox 360 is onsale at CC this week for $47.99. My CC had stacks of Stranglehold cheat sheets with $10 off coupons for the game. Total price after coupon is $37.99 plus tax.

Someone in my house threw the coupon in the trash, so I had to dig thru the trash in 100 degree heat just to find it. I hope you appreciate it.




I uploaded a high res scan, but you will have to manually adjust the coupon so it prints out to be 3 inches (H) by 4 inches (W).

Got the clerk at the CC in Poughkeepie, NY to stack the sale price with the coupon...he didn't even bat an eye. Got it for $41.xx including tax.

So is the game now ringing up for $48 and then after scaning the coupon it goed through fine or is everyone having to have the price manually adjusted?
 
Got the game for $40, coupon scanned with no issues although the cashier had a bit of a problem hitting the bar code right :)
 
Well I just got back from CC in Springfield, IL and to answer my own question. Yes this is how the deal is going now. CC has the game in their sytem for $47.99 and then the coupon just scans and takes another $10 off. I just got my copy for a grand total of $40.93!!

Now it looks like my $42 copy of Lair from overstock.com is going to get exchanged for Haloe 3 when that drops. I was planning on exchanging Lair for this game but with this deal forget about it.
 
I would've gotten the game at CC using the coupon, but it looked like it was sold out since it wasn't on the rack or in the small glass case, ended up PMing at Best Buy though.
 
Picked up a copy at the Norwalk, CA CC. The game is not on display, you have to ask for it at the front counter. Game scanned at the right price and the coupon worked great. The cashier was cool about the who thing, I think she was a gamer too cause she actually compared the game to Max Payne.

If anyone in Socal is having hassle about the coupon, I picked up the original Stranglehold cheat sheet with the coupon at the Lakewood, CA location. They might still have more copies of it, it was at the fron couter next to the Hairspray preview DVDs.
 
i would say i wish i waited alil longer instead of trying it on Monday, probably why the coupon didnt work. but i mean i paid $46 total for the CE. so thats not bad
 
Another good one here, 37.99 in and out in 5 minutes.

-I think the reason this coupon is out is because the PS3 CE edition looks sweet because it is combined with the movie Hard Boiled.
 
I matched this at Best Buy with no problems. The douchebag at Circuit City tried to claim that they only got 3 in and already sold out of them because he couldn't figure out where to find it....yeah, I'm sure they only had 3 when Best Buy had about 40 between regular and CE.
 
Thanks! I went to CC today, handed the coupon and I told the dude "hey I got this in my email" he scanned it, did some typing, and boom 37.99.
 
Picked up this at Best Buy yesterday with no problems, they matched the sale price and the $10 off coupon.

However, after getting home and putting it in my 360. My 360 died again for the fourth time.............................I guess I wont be playing Stranglehold for about 3 weeks. :cry:
 
thanks op, went on sunday (9/2) to use it and they were out of stock, tried again today and they had about 15 in stock. needless to say I got it for $40 with tax. thanks!
