Wtf??

Anyone else pissed off about this?

I think weve all played enough sf offline games.

Isnt it about time for a Online enabled one?

And why wouldnt capcom give it to us with its big ann edition?

Im pissed and im not buying it because of no online play.
 
i got a xbox to ps2 controller converter about 6 months ago off of ebay

think it was 5-6 bucks +3-4 shipping

works great .
 
meh, couldnt rally care less, unless this offers some thing NEW I'm probably not buying it anyway. And by new I dont mean online play because it's hardly a deal breaker to not be able to get 0wnz0red by some punk with 10,00 more hours of play time over me or because of a hiccup in the bandwidth.

Cuz i want to 0wnz0r people online. And not have to sit next to them watchign them get pissed and throw controllers at the TV

Never cared about online play and I never will.

Online play will never make or break a good game.

But watching them get pissed is one of the best parts of winning!! If you can't see the fruits of your labor, why bother? Maybe that's why online play doesn't interest me in the least. It's either that, or because I suck!! :)

I'll still purchase it regardless if it had online or not. It is a shame though, but I seriously much rather be sitting next to someone pissed at me beating them than someone online who will just d/c on me cause they're losing. Or hell doing a sho-ryu-ken and all of sudden deal with the "Where'd he go?"
I mean that is what is so satisfying about playing in the arcade...too bad the arcades are slowly fading out, but I loved playing on 2 tokens (why must they always charge 2-4 tokens damn arcades) for hours because some guy thought he could take me. Now a days they probably could...didn't get into SFIII really played it like twice, but well guess I'll have some practice at home now.

that the ps2 WILL have online play.......

But ebworld.com doesnt list online play as a feature........

Hopefully it will. Im really looking to buy it for ps2 instead of xbox.

You see the problem is that all my friends got sick of SF2 about a decade ago :p I was getting this for online play, but seeing that it'scraped, I'll pass.

BTW WTF is up with capcom cutting online from it's fighting games? first MvsC2 has it's live features stripped away, now this. :evil: damn capcom
