Just looked at our shipment and saw quite several copies of the SF Anniversary collection for PS2 which has Super Street Fighter II Turbo Anniversary Edition and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. I'm guessing it's just for our "Cool Deals" low price stuff so I'd think other stores should have them.

I got it on XBox when it came out and it was well worth it. The only thing that sucks about the PS2 version is that it doesn't have any online support(though I'm sure the online community by now is just about dead).

^^Forgot that tid bit too. It's well worth it; if I remember right, Gamestop usually sells their used copies for around $17.99.

Basically, if you like Street Fighter at all...this is a MUST.

Oh, holy hell. I know I have to buy this...but should I wait til I can see if my store has it, or just buy it online and eat the shipping?
I feel like this might not last long online...
Its definitely better to play against humans. Gill can go fuck himself.
Oh man, i hear that. Gill is so damn annoying.

Gill is nothing if you played against the AI in HYSF2. Buncha cheatin' controller reading bastards. Only Art of Fighting 2 is worse than that game regarding it's AI.

Bought it and paid the $2 shipping charge just so I don't have to go into the store. CC in my area has really went downhill.
Does amazon price match on stuff like this? I'd rather get it there for no tax and free 2 day shipping.
i think amazon pricematches, but only on stuff in their own stock. SF Anni. is sold through a subsidiary offa amazon.

i bit. i've been waiting for this to drop for a while. just paid $2 shipping, as i'd probably pay just as much in gas trying to drive to the store to pick it up.
This is a must buy at this price. It also has the SF movie. Though it is the censored version and isnt very good quality.
What was censored?
What was censored?
Blood, cursing, and Chun-li's shower scene.

There are so many different censored versions of this movie, it's hard to keep track.

PG-13 American Release (VHS)-
New Americanized Soundtrack, English Dub, Removed Shower Scene, Removed Blood and Language

Unrated American Release (VHS)-
New Americanized Soundtrack, English Dub, Slightly Less Censored Shower Scene, Full Blood and Language

Unrated Laser Disc American Release- same as VHS

Street Fighter Anniversary Release- PG-13 American Release, I believe.

New American DVD Release- Both full versions of the movie each with different soundtracks, although the American side of the disc still has parts missing of Chun-li's shower scene, but is more complete than the previously released Unrated (I swear, there are as many iterations of this scene as there are versions of SF2). As a result, the Japanese side of the disc is 11 minutes longer, as it contains the full scene and has extended credits.

The biggest problem isnt even the censoring. Its the fact that its compressed so much to fit on the disk with the games that its filled with artifacts.

I have this for Xbox already, and it's BC with the 360, I believe, but I don't have a stick for the 360 so I'm considering this.

Of course since Sony's abandoning BC, if my launch PS3 dies I might be stuck with a coaster. I might as well keep what I've got (and $13).

for those who don't have the DC, this is a must-buy, for SFIII of course. I'm told the DC version is better but only purists can tell ;-)
Wow they actully rerealeased it...
Yeah, right after I bought it for like $35, used :(

It is the other way around.

Yeah I actually have the DC version as well, but it's in storage now and I wanted it for PS2 or Xbox anyway.

interesting... if I order on their website I get free shipping if my order exceeds $24, and there's a CD I really want that I cant find locally.

hmm... sounds like a plan???

That sounds like a perfect plan. Went in today to get Rock Band 2, saw Street Fighter Anniversary for this price and picked it up the lone copy there along with Gears of War PC for 14.99. Sucked that they didnt have the Rock Band shirt for buying the game, I really wanted that shirt.:bomb:
