CAGiversary!
Yeah the video one snapped off in the tv. I thought you could use the red one for video?! Apparently not. I don't want to spend $40 for new ones, so does anyone know any alternative meathods?

Uh...if you're using the red cord and have the HD cable, one is for use with blue and green and the other is just the right speaker. No offense, But I wouldn't say stupid av cord, I'd say stupid user...

Some cords have a red and white cord, red for video and white for audio. So I thought you could for this. I didn't know. No need to a be a dick.

Red and white are for audio. Or on component cables one of the three video cables is also red (but it's just one of three).

The only red cord there is is for component. There never has been a lone red cord solely for video, its always been yellow. And I answered it that way because I used to work doing tech support for AV equipment, and I refuse to answer such basic questions in which the user seems comepletly clueless about what the hell it is that they are doing and too dumb to understand common sense (and worst of all, never reading the fucking manual!) in a civil tone

Hi Jackass, my question wasn't if you could use the red cord for video. You're responses are pretty useless. My question was if there are alternatives to having to buy a whole new set of cords for $40. Also, on red and white audio cables, red can be used for video. My dad does it on his camera.
