It doesn't hurt anyone's image. I'm not attacking her for being a woman, I'm attacking her for making crass generalizations about a large segment of the population. If she had said something similar about black people or Jews instead of just generic "men" would you say the same thing? Hell no, you'd jump up and point out how offensive it was and how it had no basis in fact.

You made a generalized statement that "most men think of women as nothing more then sex toys and baby makers." I think that's why you were attacked, since it's obvious that this notion is derived from your perception of the gender roles that the media has developed.

In other words, not all men think women are objects.

Although, your other points are valid. Statistically speaking, women do make less money than men. However, this issue also applies to other groups as well, including minorities and populations.

I didn't mean to imply that you were attacking deadzone for being a woman. But you did admit yourself that you were attacking her. And I did say that some of her accusations were not based on fact. She wasn't the only one however who made some stupid baseless accusations

to get back to the point the original poster was making. Ladies night is BS anyways. My sister goes out all the time and never spends more than 5 dollars the whole evening.

If anyone deserves a discount its the guys as they are the ones who end up ponying up for the booze

Isn't this a little contradictory? You say you're posting all opinions, then state that you have the one outward fact presented in this argument. You mask an opinion as fact by using an intentionally vague term, "some". My view of "some" could be as small as 3 or 4. Whereas, from your prior posts, where you say that MOST men are womanizers, I would assume you take "some" to mean around 75% of all men (I'd also assume that you meant within the US)


How'd the topic of Ladies Night degenerate into this? I mean, I personally don't care, because the drinking scene isn't exactly my thing. I don't see any reason for this to be taken away, though.

I'm sorry. I didn't know I was generalizing my opinions as complete and total facts. I believe them to be true as I have stated but I don't think that I'm certain that I said something like 'This is a well known fact that blah blah blah'. And If i did, I revoke it.
