Suicide-inducing Steam Weeklong deal: buy Raven Squad, get Legendary free

I played Legendary on the 360... One of THEE WORST games I have EVER played in my life.

Raven Squad Metacritic score: 38

IGN's 2.0/10 review says: "Don’t play this game. The idea of blending a first-person shooter with a real-time strategy game isn’t a bad one, but the execution was a complete failure. I’ll look back fondly at my time reviewing Raven Squad -- all three hours of it -- but only because I couldn’t stop laughing at the fact that this game exists."

Legendary Metacritic score: 50

1up raves: "By the time I'd defeated my 10th werewolf, I was already tired of needing to cut or shoot its head off so it didn't regenerate. By the time I defeated my 200th, I just wanted to turn the game off."

Only $40 for this tag-team of pure win? How can Direct-2-Drive hope to compete with their lousy $5 sales? STEAM FTMFWY!!!
Great Title OP!

FYI, I have a friend who liked Legendary. She also liked X-Blades & Rock Revolution.
I'm ashamed to say that I own both Legendary and X-Blades(got it free from Best Buy), but I've yet to make it past the first stage in either game.
Win. I need the manuels for toilet paper and the disc/cases make for great footrests when stacked.
I'm afraid this fabulous deal won't even be any good for that, seeing as how this is on Steam.

But hey, if you're really itching to waste a dozen gigs of bandwidth and harddrive space, you can at least accomplish that.

Remember, CAG caters to everyone.

You have at least one too many friends, buddy.

I love this from the IGN review...

There's an option to play Raven Squad online in a co-op mode where each player takes direct control of just one of the two assault groups. It should come as no surprise that nobody is playing online, so unless you buy two copies and trick a friend into playing with you, this option is worthless.

Just out of curiosity what are the other two?

Talking about ruining friendships....I'd put a friend in the cross-face chicken wing Bob Backland style if I was conned like that!

Haha this post made me laugh. I like how the OP posted this deal just to let you know you're an idiot if you buy it. But yeah both those games are steaming piles of shit hahaha

Hey, she is a HOT:hot::hot::hot: gamerchick. She is pretty good at "good" games as well (RB6-V2, GOW2). What am I supposed to do?;)

As a friend, you put up with her faults and revel in your time shared enjoying a shared hobby. A true friendship is priceless and as a CAG you know that's a good deal.

As a member of the internet, you post pictures.

Legendary was pretty bad but it was not even close to one of the worst games I have ever played. It was a game that had a really cool idea and decent graphics but the gameplay was just too bad.
I think the game that stands out in my mind as the worst game of all time is Bayou Billy for the nes.....damn i am old.... :(
Lmao, I liked that game.

Nope. My cousin got it for his B-Day when it first came out and it was frusterating as hell but not this bad....

as Xenophobe or whatever it was called was the worst. My god that game was BAD. Never played the Arcade version as it looked crappy too but the NES version...damn.

On topic though, I think Legendary is a decent $7-$10 game. Anything more than that and you've got too much free $$$ to spend so can I please have some?

Raven Squad...man I dont think its even worth that much.
