It's becoming increasingly hard to find, and with the advent of numero four coming out, people are suspecting an increase of value 'ala numero dos.

I doubt that it'll reach up to that calibur, since it had a larger print run than two, but hey I love the series in general. I actually bought it when it first came out during one of TRU's B2G1 free sales. Damn I miss those.

It truly isn't rare, but in some places it is difficult to find. Most of the time if you do a little searching, than it isn't too hard to find. Truly, this game is more in limbo between hard to find/uncommon to rare.

It's value isn't that high either. It has retained its original MSRP, but it hasn't really gone up. You'd have to give it another year or two.
Just curious, does this site give complete games with the case and manual?
I believe it does. In the help section on the website, there is a FAQ about how someone will know if their trade-ins will be accepted.

What determines what CDs/DVDs/Games are accepted?
We accept items based upon sales and the current number in stock throughout the Wherehouse chain. In addition, the final arbiter is the condition of the item. It must be free of visible scratches and have all the associated artwork in good condition. Please examine your trade-in items carefully, as rejected product will not be returned to you.

There is also a statement in the buying section of the faq saying that all items are complete with original materials. The site is down for maintenance now, or I would quote it for you.

Found the statement.

How do I know the used stuff I buy is of good quality?
Wherehouse.com has hundreds of thousands of used CDs, DVDs and video games in inventory at very reasonable prices. Every used item at Wherehouse.com is in excellent condition and is thoroughly inspected and includes all original elements (i.e. inserts, instructions, etc.). Plus, Wherehouse.com has a (30) day satisfaction guarantee on everything we sell to be free of defects. Our goal is for every customer to be 100% satisfied with their used product purchase.

I just got the game today. Very fast shipping by the way. It was in perfect condition and complete. It was actually sealed up in plastic but clearly marked as a used game. Wherehouse is definitely a place I would buy from again for games they have in stock. I pre-ordered Fable from them after trading in some games and I think I will be waiting for awhile. It's backordered.

I just wanted to point out that this deal is still on if you're persistent enough. Just keep checking the site and order the game when it's in stock again. Four of my orders were cancelled, but one finally went through. I just got my copy in the mail today, and it's in great condition.
