your disgaea 1 isnt the first print. the first print has a hologram ps2 seal ontop. yours is the reprinted version

That sucks because I bought it before they reprinted. If the version of the game I have up for auction isn't the one you're looking for, I guess my only suggestion is to check out my other items and see if any of them interest you. Thanks for taking a look and good luck bidding!

I can vouch for this.. I've got one of the 1st prints, it's got a white strip. AFAIK, it's the only print with the white strip.

There was a "pre-reprint" reprint if that makes any sense. It was rather small but that is probably where you got yours from. But the desirable one that everyone wants is the first print with UPC strip.

That does suck, if that's what they did... But it looks like a moot point anyway because bidders weren't all that interested. I should have never bought that damn game in the first place. I don't even like it very much and I can't get back even half of what I spent to get it. Anyway, the rest of the stuff I put up seems to be doing fairly well, and I hope that trend continues at least.
