I made this new topic because the last one went completely off topic and to hell. All codes are now known! Please, only discuss the Suikoden 4 Promo Items, nothing else.

The codes:

1. chiepoo19
2. kooluk63
3. 150razril5
4. LEKK4481
5. magsnowe48
6. 1punish27

There is another possible code you can get. It is the in the Suikoden IV Artbook. Those are one-time only codes though.

Remember: To use the Lekk4481 code, you must click on the island the ship is pointing to first.
To use chiepoo19 and kooluk 63, you must beat the flash game in the same session you add the code. (Just don't close your window and you'll be fine.)

Is that something new? Because i never played any of the games and all the codes worked for me.

When they put in the check for the artbook codes, they must have disabled thier previous checks.
When I input those codes, it would not accept them until AFTER the task was completed.

Though, I guess the check for multiple artbook codes was more pressing.

i didnt do any of the tasks and all my codes worked......plus the artbook. still need the 7th one though.

-btw hopefully that bffinster dick was locked down along with the last thread so he cant come to this one and mess it up too.
Just to get this thread back on topic, anyone think that guy really had tourette's?
Damn right I do, you cocksucking motherf*cking shit stain.

edit: Oh and I do truely have tourettes and it does not cause me to flipout and cuss all the time and even if it did it would be directed outward not towards individuals. I really dislike it when people use disorders to cover attitude problems.

Oh and on topic when do people think the 7th code will finally come out?
Probably in a couple weeks.

I'm still baffled that they didnt put one in the strategy guide.
Has that been confirmed? I thought for sure that the guide would have the final code... Somewhere.

It's really annoying to have to enter/re-enter a code just see what codes you have.:x But I still have 7... That one '150razil5' code twice.

i looked inside the cover and the back, but couldn't find anything that resembled the code. if i have a lot of free time today, i'll check out the rest of the guide.

I entered the codes without having played the games and it worked.

Nope.
Since the contest doesn't end until the end of Feb., I have a feeling there will be a nice long dead period before anyone catches wind of the next code.
That's what got this thread restarted to begin with...there was a huge rush of information at the start, and now there is a long period of waiting... so that led to the blow up in the previous thread.

and we're sure the 7th code in an unreleased website related one? not one in materials already available?

If Konami wanted to ensure some profit form this deal, they could always throw a unique code into a Suiko4 advertisement on the back of the Ys VI manual when it's released next month...

IF it's released next month :p

Even so, I doubt abnyuone would buy Ys just for the last code.

I'm almost 100% positive the last code is going to be in an Sui4 ad in a mag somewhere.

recent? as in just 4? cause i have heard mediocre things about 4, dont know what to make of it myself yet.

but alot of people did like 3, even those that are really attuned to the 2D PSX ones.

Been playing since Tuesday night, got 74 stars so far. No matter how bad a Suikoden game gets, it always gives me more incentive to beat it than any of the Square RPGs. There is this unexplicable charm about the series. BTW, this feels more like Suikoden than the 3rd one, and it even has *WARNING SPOILER DON'T LOOK*

Ted with his SoulEater from Suikoden 1 *END SPOILER* as one of the stars.

strange alot of people told me that if you like the older 2 then 3 is great, and albeit 4 is more like them it was not made as well so people will dislike it.

I don't know how many times Olson has said there won't be any more codes until at least February. He knows what he's talking about.

Does anyone who received more than one artbook have a code I could use? Would anyone like to PM me one?

I don't think you can really trust Suikoden fans to be fair generally. They seem to be on an extreme. The people that started with the first two bitch about 3 and 4 most of the time and the ones that started with 3 seem to like them all but 3 far more than any. I've seen a lot of people complain about 4 not having the Trinity system but at the same time a lot complain now about how bad 3 was and and they hated the Trinity system. It seems the 3 hate has really gone up over the years when it was so well reviewed by most when it came out. There are a few of us, like myself, that love all four and started with the first but it's a rare thing.

Suikoden 3 did get received well when it first came out, something i cant say the same for 4 though, it has been getting panned, wich leads me at least to the conclusion that if it is like 2 that it may not be as good of a game.

i still cant yet tell as i havent had much time, and i cant recall 3, i'd have to play it again.......2 well......i own it.......but let's just say i'm very afraid to put it into my 1st gen PS2 tray.

A game is a game. There's nothing to worry about.

4 is truly more similar to 1 and 2 than 3 was. It got rid of the bad things like the trinity system(at least I hated it), fight in pairs, no world map to wander about, among many other things. But at the same time, Konami incorporated tons of stupid flaws such as the 4-person party and painfully slow sail on the ship. Plus, the story in 4 doesn't have much to do with the other major conflicts in the Suikoden world, except for the cameo of the one I mentioned earlier. I really wanna see a new Suikoden which takes place in the more populated middle areas such as Toran, Dunan, and talk more about Harmonia.

Well it's a pretty safe bet to say they will be released closer to the end of the contest, doesn't take a super-secret Konami spy to "figure" that one out :p

In the mean time this thread's pretty useless.

I know the 7th code...

Go to the promo site and hit up,up, down, down, left, right, left, right, alt, ctrl, shift, enter... not only do you get the final wall scroll code, but you also get 30 lives for the ship game. ;)

CLASSIC. ^___^

is anyone else having trouble submiting codes?
I just got an Artbook code and I wanted to enter it in, but it keeps sending me to a dead page.

I liked the trinity system. It allowed for a greater number of the characters to seem a little more imporant. With the other two games, many of the Stars of Destiny ended up feeling just kind of pointless.
At least when you're telling multiple parts of the story, more characters get a better chance to shine.

I'll second that.

I have 2 codes listed twice in my entry, chiepoo19 and my artbook code. I'm not sure what they are doing but there is now way to fix it and I'll probably get disqualified for there mistakes. I have no idea how the codes doubled since they weren't there a week ago. I even sent and email but no response. Anyone else have double codes listed?

That was the best part of the Trinity system, you ended up with so many meaningful characters and more backstory.

Tried it & it do not work :(

Anyway what is the 7th code !! :)
....

I would assume you're joking, but if I've learned one thing, don't underestimate the stupidity of people on teh intrawebnet...
Sorry.

Can the last password be found in the game itself? Maybe after the credits?
Didn't see anything. Watched the credits, the background, even got the 108 star ending. Nada...
Oh the nuts? I just went in the check today and 150razril5 is shown as valid twice!
Well, at least I'm not the only one...

Thank you thank you thank you for stating the ending this way. For a split second i thought you were gonna say the ending. whew. Also thanks for informing as far as the code.

On the gamefaqs board theres a guy saying the last password is in the strategy guide... but you can never tell...

We may already have this one, I can't quite remember, but did we check the instruction manual that comes with the game?
