Suikoden, man. Suikoden

I was at GameRush today renting a game, and I was checking out the magazines for the new OXM. I turned around to find on the PS1 shelf, a copy of Suikoden, right in front. I jumped on it. I was still amazed when I looked behind it and found Suikoden II! I was in shock! There was also a copy of Tales of Destiny that I got with the buy 2 get 1 free.

So, I ended up With Suikoden I AND II for around $15. They all have their manuals, inserts and original case. And their conditions are great.

This has been a good day.

I also saw Legend of Mana for PS1, I may go back and pick it up.

Man you are damn lucky...I hope that day will come to me one of these days. Because I am not spending up to 100 bucks just to get it on EBay....But I was able to get Rhapsody for 20 bucks today from a local game shop. :D

god i wish they would make a suikoden collection allready I'm tired of reading about this game. forgot to say nice find ;)

One of the great finds I've heard about. About the only thing better is if you found these dumpster diving. $15 for ToD, Suik 1, and Suik 2 is just awesome.

Congrats on a spectacular find! Getting those two at a Gamestop will cost you $90 before discount and even more on eBay!

Yep I'm incredulous too. I hate to be the asswipe who says "post a receipt scan" but... Goddamit post a receipt scan.

I don't particularly like the Suikoden games (even though I love most RPGs), but Sui 1 and 2 + ToD for $15? That would be the deal of the year.

good job on the suikodens, now play them, love them, become immersed in them.

Or trade suikoden 2 to me. don't own them because they're rare. I am dying to get the second one cause the first is so awesome.

I got my first copy of Suik 1 at a used game shop, disc only for 9 bucks. Then 5 months later the same shop got in Suikoden II... I payed the $56.98 knowing it would go up in value. Then this spring I found another Suikoden I, this time complete complete at a Pawn for $5.

I also found disc only copies of Tales of Destiny, Threads of Fate, Saga Frontier 2, Legend of Mana, Street Fighter 2 Collection at Hollywood Video for $20 total a while ago.

Hell and just a month ago I found a disc only copy of Rez for PS2 for $5 and as I was leaving looked in the "$5 PS1 box"... Valkyrie Profile!! It is disc only, but I dont care.

If you can prove it, I'm proud (and a bit jealous) of you. Until then, I'm going to be all smug about getting both of those games for $11. :D

I wish I could see all your faces

Ah yes, I noticed the guy charged me for Tales of Destiny. I'll go back Saturday and get my money.

Heres a better pic. I couldnt find my camera, so my first pic was with my Sony Clie.

Suikoden - Nice.:)
Tales of Destiny - Nicer!:):)
Suikoden II - Nicest!:):):)

Congrats man! Excellent find and you even got ToD free!:D

Damned good stuff... play through them. I bought Suikoden I and II on their respective release dates. Carry over your Suiko I data to II, you get one kick ass side quest (I'm not going to spoil it). Even though it's a random battler, both have one hell of a storyline.

Also, you can carry over the data from both to Suiko III.

Now when you find a Panzer Saga for 6 bucks, I'll personally drive to your location with a Burger King crown with a CAG emblem on the front, crown you luckiest cheapass bastard of the land, and buy you a damned drink

Just out of curiosity though, was this bought in a low population area? It would explain the games being around... I've gotten a brand new NES and Saturn at a middle of nowhere flea market and pawn shop before, due to local lack of interest (Saturn was 10 bucks, NES was $15)

The area has a moderate population, which seems to be expanding every week, what with all the new stores and houses. I visit that Blockbuster/GameRush almost every week to rent games and/or preorder something. The games must have been traded in recently because they werent there about a week and a half ago. I almost gave up looking in the PS1 section because all the ever had were sports games and the like. It was pure coincidence that I happen to check it out.

Damn that's crazy. Sadly the one GR near here has tons of guys that actually play and know games and the other one has a manager that loves to take advantage of his position for personal gain so I'm betting it's why I've never seen anything worth it there. And to think I thought lucky grabbing a near mint II for 50 and I for 15.
haha to all you dickswabs who doubted him
Amen. What does it benefit one to post a deal they did not get? It's their own personal problem if they post something and it's not true. So congratulate and move on.
