Suikoden V $29.99 shipped at Outpost

In for one, and when it comes, I will return my Suikoden V I got from Gamestop.com back to the B&M.

Thanks a ton OP, you just saved me about $12 bucks :D

Nice. $30 w/o tax or shipping is certainly a good enough deal for this title right around release.

I might buy it if I can return my copy today. I was hoping to save $15 or $20 later on, but I guess $10 is fine. I'm halfway done with SH:FTNW anyway.

like when i ordered Magna Carta when it was $40, took about two or three weeks, lol the whole time i was nearly broke, and i was sweating outpost sending (charging) before my next paycheck.

this is tempting. would GS want the artbook back too? and would they give you your money back or a store credit? with receipt ofc

With receipt you'll get back whatever form of payment you gave them. No, Gamestop won't even know you have an artbook, since it dosen't show up on the receipt.

Luckily, I didn't even open my copy yet from GS, so I'll be taking it back soon.

EDIT: My order is already being processed, and I only bought it hours ago.

My order wouldn't go through online, so I called outpost. He said they are out of stock, but I could order now, and it would be shipped in 10 days. Thanks OP, saved me 12 bucks!

I contacted Outpost and at first he said it was 'out of stock'. However, after he checked on the item, Preorders also constitue the 'out of stock' category for their management system.

Wait, is there supposed to be tax? :(

I guess it depends where you live, huh.

EDIT: Oh blah, nevermind. I read the note under my order. Sucks how CA gets charged for tax.

Its because there is a Fry's in your state.

This is a tempting deal. On the other hand, I have a sizeable backlog of unplayed games, including half a dozen RPGs. By the time that I'm able to play Suikoden V, it may be available for less than $30.

I'm thinking the same thing. Except my backlog includes closer to fifteen RPGs.

I think I'll get it now. By the time that the price drops to $20, it'll probably be out of stock in B&M stores, so I'd have to order online and pay $5 for shipping.

That was sorta my reasoning. By the time I get around to buying the game, it'll be out of print like Suikoden III... at least this way I'm guaranteed to be getting the game at a good price. But my backlog is killer... Skies of Arcadia Legends, the Shin Megami Tensei games, Paper Mario, Oblivion, and countless others stand in the way. Ah well, at least I'm enjoying this problem.

suikoden 4 dropped to $20 and it was everywhere.

Sorry, but would someone explain to me what you mean by "the B&M?" I need to take my Suikoden V back too...

Thanks for the response. I bought my game at an ebgames outside of my town and am not gonna go all the way down there just to get my money back.
I know Walmart takes back items, but only 3 a year. Any suggestions of stores to go to?

Wow, 83% at gamerankings...I thought this game was on the same "meh who cares" level that Suikoden 4 was....I might have to consider getting this now...

I highly recommend it. It's on the same level as Suiko I and II. :applause:

Tried to resist this deal all day... ended up just rationalizing it instead. One more game added to the enormous backlog can't hurt I guess. Thanks OP!

I'm an idiot.. I had two chances the past two days to stop by fry's since I was passing by it those two days. I wonder if they'll have anymore copies tomorrow.
but seriously, i really need to go through the whole series WITH the save states.
There's no save state loading for Suikoden V.
Can you cancel an order? I'm going to check in-store.
Yep, either shoot them an email or call them at 1-877-OUTPOST w/ your order #. As long as it hasn't processed and been prepped for shipping, you should fine...

I guess it was that easy. I asked because I couldn't find anything about cancelling an order at their web site. Only took about a minute.
I grabbed the last one at my nearest Fry's.
Bullshit. Cleaver and I have both decided that Fry's does not actually exist. Stop stringing us along with your imaginary store chain. :p
