Super Barnes And Noble Extravaganza 10% Off

^

I can't even do a search on their site right now...seems really bogged down? Are you just recommending those games because you like 'em, or are they really cheap?

Read the fine print - (IV) not valid on purchases made from third parties accessible from the bn.com website (e.g., used books, PC and video games). Since their games go through gamestop.com, this coupon will not, and does not, work.
I tried pre-ordering another Street Fighter IV Stick and the coupon wouldn't work on it. I've would have liked to save the $15.
Dang! that's what I was thinking too since they cancelled my $40 pre-order.
10% off bn.com prices don't come anywhere near what you can get at Amazon any day of the week.
agreed, but 10% off with a card plus a 10% or 15% off coupon plus B2G1 Free has gottem me quite a few great deals... this week I got

Spaced The complete series
and 2 copies for BSG season 4 (1 for me 1 for a friend)

for $86 shipped (damn NY state sales tax)

now that sir IS a great deal

Screw them. They canceled our SFIV joystick orders rather than owning up and honoring the price. They don't deserve our business.

Please.

LOL yeah, they should have taken a 6 digit hit to honor what everyone knew was clearly a pricing error.

Exactly. People are quick to bash B&N for their $25/year card, but the savings add up quick because they stack (online price + card discount + coupon + special offer = monies saved). Usually in the fall/winter they usually send out a 40 or 50% coupon that again stacks with everything else and is usable twice (once in-store, once online); that in itself usually saves me more than cost of the card and I still come out ahead from Amazon with it.

Hell, I just spent $95 on 3 DVD sets from their B2G1 DVD sale that would have cost me $155 from Amazon. :bouncy:

But Borders' card is free, and I get 30%-40% off coupons fairly regularly. It's really hard to justify that $25 asking price unless you buy a ton of books throughout the year.

But Borders is in serious financial trouble and probably won't survive the next few months, rendering their member program USELESS.

Hell, as long as their online store survives they're welcome to close all the brick and mortars.

They never canceled my SFIV joystick order. PayPal still lists it as pending and I never received a cancellation email :?:

I can guarantee you will never get that joystick for $40.

I'm not saying that I will. I'm just saying that my order has not been canceled yet.
