It's cheaper. Monoprice adds quite a bit for shipping, $4 shipped is pretty much unbeatable if you only want one item.

Plus, I know what I'm getting with Monoprice, which is a 1.3a-rated cable. "Super High Res" doesn't mean anything without any real comparison of what that means.
