Super Mario Galaxy w/Free SMG Coin @ Gamestop

Umm... it is a deal - it's a free coin with the purchase of the game.

It's not thrilling and exciting, but this is the only way to get the coin with the game now.

Quite an attitude for someone who's been here for less than 2 months. The rules are in place for a reason. We don't want to have to browse through a bunch of crap posts to find the deals. When a post is made here it better be a deal. And I'm not talking about 5% off retail, or a free piece of crap with an item. It better be a real deal on an item. Otherwise it's just a waste of time.
 
I actually got one last night when I preordered Smash Bros - the manager was just "Hey, did you get the preorder coin from Mario?" and I said I hadn't, he said they had a bunch of leftovers and handed me one.

I wonder if other stores (TRU, CC) doing better preorder deals on Galaxy left them with a lot of extras.

No doubt I hope this is not the reason for his banning. That would really be uncalled for... unless it was like his 3+ post doing the same thing.

He was banned the other day and several times before and this was just another dupe account. It was caught before he could continue causing trouble.

Figured that was the case, as I don't believe I have seen a completely uncalled for banning when someone is new and learning the ropes...without reading first....
 
During last Black Friday (I believe... might have been after Christmas), Target had their game cases open so people could just grab games. I grabbed a coin pack (they had a billion on the shelf) and asked the manger if I could have it since the preorder was long over and I had already bought Mario. She put it in a bag and off I walked.

Didn't mention that I had bought my copy of Mario from Amazon. :)

Just because you don't want a deal, that doesn't mean it's a waste of space. There are plenty of people on this site that would be happy to get a game at 5% off the MSRP compared to paying full price. And while this free coin doesn't seen like that great of a thing to you, it's still a deal.

I was at a TRU the other day and I saw a sign near Mario Galaxy that read "Free Coin with purchase of game" . Since I know the guy that works in R Zone, I told him that when they had the launch, I bought about four copies and never got my coins for them. He went behind the counter an opened up a box and put 4 of them in a bag. Then he said we got about 200 of these things. They were suppose to be here when the game launched. So check out TRU as well on this.
 
This isn't a great deal, but good for anyone who would otherwise buy galaxy at full price thru gamestop. No reason to flame this so hard. You would have to pay a few bucks minimum on ebay to get one shipped. IMO, it's a cool freebie for nintendo and mario enthusiasts. Better than the plastic stylus that was for zelda phantom hour glass, but nobody flamed that when it was posted here.

Sorry for double post, but I think I may be able to explain: Zelda is a bigger draw for wapanese these days, I've observed, than Mario. And only wapanese fucktarded children would make uptight posts like the ones seen here.
