CAGiversary!
Super Monkey Ball for the Wii is $33.99 after instant rebate at Costco B&M. I didn't look to see how long the rebate lasts. It should last until Sunday at the least.

Just a quick note - this game is not worth that much. At best I'd say wait until it is $19.99. I found the controls very poor (like they didn't know how to program for a Wii remote).

I think most of the mini games are crap, some are very good, and the main game is terrific.

I, as well, thought this game was pretty bad. The most disappointing game I've played in a long time, since I love SMB1 and SMB2. The controls were just so bad in nearly all of the game. Mini-games, main game, etc. There's a ton of mini-games, which helps, but I didn't find a single one of them enjoyable in the way that the original Monkey Target, Monkey Fight, and so on, are.

The controls were the main travesty here, though. Tried the single player for HOURS, and still... I got MORE used to them then when I had first started, yeah, but I was still all over the damn place. It makes me sad inside that there's no option for the analog stick. That would take this bad game into the pretty good game region.

If you get this game, buy it for the single player, not for the multiplayer! The game has great graphics (480p widescreen)- way better than monkeyball 2. It's annoying that you have to hold the wiimote like a pencil, and you can't hold it sideways like Sonic or excite truck. The multiplayer gets old, fast!

I was hoping for monkey target 2 with wii flight controls, and sega did not deliver... The monkey target in the wii version is more of a quick minigame, rather than the fleshed out game found on the GC. They better damn put something comperable to monkey target 2 in the next game!

So, yeah.... get it for the one player. It looks great, it's fun if you have a steady hand, and it's frustratingly hard (which is a good thing)

If you're on the fence, just wait for the next one. It will be better...(well, it better be)

I loved the single player. The difficulty continually increases with each world, but it works well because you also continue to get better as you play. By the end of the game, you'll find levels that were tough early on to be a cakewalk in comparison. If you're a Monkey Ball fan and you've got a Wii, you really ought to have this game.

Good price for a good game.
