They dropped prices on NES and Genesis games last week. Today it's Super NES titles. Most of the games are either $1.99, $3.99, or $5.99. Certain rare titles still cost a lot, but you can still pick up some good deals.

I got Star Fox, Illusion of Gaia, Slam Masters, Super Street Fighter 2, Mystical Ninja, and Castlevania IV all for $5.99 each. Not bad! :D

anyone know of good ones?
I don't think any of the titles on sale for those prices are the rare SNES games.

i need some help here. there isnt much on the list that i would jump for, however i wanted to get a good motorcycle game. can anyone tell me which is the best out of these from personal experience:

gp-1 2
kawasaki challenge
suzuka 8 hours

Super Gameboy is on that list, I suppose that could be worthwhile. I dont remember if it played Color Games though (this is just me writing, not asking, im not buying it)

If I recall, one of the big features of the Super Gameboy was that it colorized the black-and-white Gameboy games. So I would assume that it does play intentionally colorized games (GBC).

I'm kind of bummed that somebody bought out Mega Man X before I could get to it. They had Mega Man X yesterday for $15, but I was waiting for the price drop to $5.99. Oh well, there are still some great deals here! :)

I don't think they will work, a few GBC like Tarzan I think have a new set of commands that the old GB didn't know what to do with. I think I remember seeing a few boxes with "Only for Gameboy Color".

Super GameBoy came out long, long before GBC existed and thus does not support GBC carts in color mode. It'll support them in B&W mode as a normal GameBoy would. (Though I'm not sure that worked for all games.)

What's weirder, I'm not even sure the GBC system itself supports the specialized color palettes in carts optimized for the Super GameBoy (like in Donkey Kong '94 and other games).

The GBC system (and GBA) DOES support specialized color palletes, and even, through built in compatability, supports certain older titles (about 8 in total, mostly first party releases). Such games included Metroid II and Link's Awakening. The Super game boy player plays all games except those labeled Game Boy Color Only, like SMB DX
I would snag a few, but lately ive been having trouble with ebgames.com. It will not let me add things into my cart for some reason.
I was having problems like that last year at EB. It worked once I logged out and deleted all my cookies from my computer. Might work for you.

I had the same problem, I think people swamp it with adding and removing several copies of games to/from their carts

Yea, that happens, its as annoying as hell. Just clear out your cookies and you'll be fine.
Is there still a coupon code that enables free shipping? Does anyone have that handy?

Thanks!

The only codes available are listed on the main page of the site along the right side. PPLAY15 is one of them...

Use AFF15 and Saver for 15% off and free saver shipping.. you can tack on your Edge card number for an extra 10% if you have one.

Aw geez! Thanks

Mortal Kombat 2 for $6 -- great deal, though I own it already. That was so near arcade-perfect it's silly. The Street Fighter games are great deals, too.

I picked up:
Stunt Race FX
Wario's Woods (for my girlfriend)
Kirby's Avalanche
Super Bowling
Out of This World
Legend of Mystical Ninja

Then grabbed some GBC stuff, too, for $6 each:
Motocross Maniacs 2
Pro Darts

Grand total: $41.20

I also tried to get GBC Bionic Commando, but it disappeared from the time I put it in my cart to when I checked out fully.

There's a Super Gameboy II that plays "GBC Only" games. I'm not sure if it was released in America, but every import shop has one.

Believe it or not, there was also something called Super Wide Boy or thereabouts that we had where I worked. With it, you could play GBC and GB games on an N-64. Worked just like a Super Game Boy.

Man, these thing always happen after I buy stuff at higher prices.

I need to get one of those edge cards, too.
