I jumped on that. May I recommend to others to pick up Perfect Dark when you order? Pay $3.99 for that, then use the free shipping, you pay the same price and get another game.

well I just added that to please fwacce...he continually posts in my topics about how I am not a saint and that I am taking advantage of CAGers and how I am just some profiteer trying to make a buck off people...its rather annoying
 
I feel just the opposite of fwacce: you try tooo hard, IMO, to please all these cheap guys--it's a losing battle!

They have yet to release SPF2T as a GH but to clarify the matter I posted that it is NOT a GH cover...I am sure someone would have asked.

Make sure that you are using a Visa or Mastercard and also make sure to have the proper expiration date for the card. I got a similar message because I didn't put in the proper expiration date on my card.

Thanks Defender, I think $30 new for a game that goes for $50+ used on ebay is one great deal. And I really do hope you make money off of this game because you store is awesome and has a lot of hard to find games for reasonable prices.

Also, someone mentioned "Free Shipping" earlier. If possible can someone post a code or requirement to get free shipping at VGD? I would like to use it on my next order. Thanks.

How many copies of the game do you have available. I know alot of people that would like this game and I must convince them that they won't last by the end of the week.
 
I cant reveal my quantity as my competitors may read this and get rather jealous. Lets just say its a LOT and my price is VERY good. While many places were allocated small quantities...I made a prebook on these months ago and have just been waiting. I am part of the reason these even got made. I am taking a solid percent of the pressing.

The saturn version is the same name.

I really didnt expect them to move this fast..mostly because a lot of customers are taking multiple copies for resale. Honestly...I have to make some calls tomorrow to finalize exactly how many I can get as I will attempt to take it all. Even if I do get the rest of these though it appears that they may not make it to the weekend at this price. When I am down to a small quantity I will raise the price. I will sell 90% of what I have at $28.99 but then I have to change that so I can slow sell them over a period of time...Its nice having rare games in stock people are looking for...it helps get orders and customer visits.

oh well..I am really happy you all are enjoying the sale.
 
i actually got this game for $40 in like new condition for a friend of mine during christmas...i was really really really tempted to keeping it for myself though...

thanks to defender, i was able to get in on this deal and finally get a copy for myself...

My order is now processing, Yeah! I can't wait to finally play this game. I haven't really been addicted to a puzzle game since the tetris on the original GameBoy. I've been looking for a cool party game that non-gamers can get into and I think this will be it.

Been checking out the VGD site and those Squaresoft 3 packs are sweet. I wish they were around when I bought all those games last year. Oh well, at least I can buy them as gifts for friends.

I had this same problem. I figured out that I had to include a dash after each set of numbers and everything worked fine.

Defender: You should probably look into that. A minor problem but people get a little jittery when it comes to CC numbers. I didn't trip since we've done business before.

I have never needed to add dashes to the CC number. I think you get that error when trying to use American Express. There shouldnt be any spaces when typing the card number...so maybe if you are doing 1234 4444 4444 4444 that may do it...I will do some testing to see why.

I used a Visa and input the entire 16 digit string with no spaces or dashes to get the error. Once I input the dashes everything was cool.

I've never had a problem with my CC number either. Usually the problem is user error. I know some people don't like putting their cards on the net, but if you want to buy anything...get used to it.
 
Bah! Dammit, I saw this last night and was gonna order this morning, and sure enough, gone. I got in on the Cubivore deal awhile ago, and that still hasn't sold out, so I thought I'd be safe. If you get any more, defender, any chance you could set one aside for me as well? =D

It seems that every once in a while a company will do a limited print run of a highly requested game. About 2 years ago, Squaresoft did a limited reprint of Xenogears (non-GH) when it was rare. Only until recently has it become a GH title. I was wondering if us CAGer's could come up with a list of rare PS1 and PS2 games that are out of print but would like a limited reprint of. First on my list would be Konami's Suikoden II.
 
Konami NEVER does reprints. I am not sure why. Konami is run very much by its Japanese corporate brethren and I think they just want to think ahead.

Also...

I just added a SMALL quantity. I have counted what I have and can spare a few more. I really hope to get more but I doubt it.

That's too bad, there is such a demand for their older titles, it's a shame that they don't realize this. Also, some of their new titles are subjected to limited runs which is unfortunate.

Im hoping there will be a late GH, like with FF tactics. I don't know if Konami does reprints of a regular title. But they do Greatest Hits (Castlevania Symphony)
 
Symphony was a very rare exception for them to do a PSone reprint.

And some EXCELLENT news...

I locked in more SPF2T and it should be enough for everyone. I now have about 25% of the entire pressing.

I negotiated the last of them. I am hoping these will last at least 5 days at the current price.
