Any chance they are going to make a new gem one after the GBA version. Not the pocket fighter version that was horrible.

Don't count on it...it's more of a cult classic than anything, if I'm not mistaken.

A new version would be great, especially for the GBA, but nothing has been announced...

Super Puzzle Fighter Third Strike, perhaps? :D

The GBA version has some slowdown problems and the jewels don't explode into a thousand pieces like they did on the Saturn/PS1, but other than that, it's a great port.

I've never played the DC version. I've been looking into it for some time. How is it? Any new characters?

I don't think they need to make another one, the Dreamcast one was flawless.

The Dreamcast version had diffrent play modes but no new characters.

I just recently got the Japanese version for the Dreamcast and it is hands-down the best version. The new play modes add a great new twist to the game.

the new play modes are sweet do i dont like the controls as much on DC, they dont seem as quick and responsive. i havent played it in months but i think it was online capable, i'll check tho

I agree on the controls, but I did find I got used to them pretty fast. I've never tried the online stuff since we always play in groups at parties, but I think the online mode can only be used in Japan?

it was. It was made for Matching service in Japan (similar to Street Fighter Aplha 3, and Super Street Fighter II X)
