For the free ones, they actually say on the bottom to ask them for current price. Hmmm... hopefully they'll let me know before they decide to charge $1500 to my card :)

I ordered the "free" Sonic one a couple of months ago. Within hours they cancelled the order and told me to call to get the price.

A couple are missing even, the Dreamcast probably came close to having the most SE consoles ever for any system, at least for one with a short lifespan.

They also say only one available. Perhaps they were already purchased?

the last Dreamcast off the assembly line was supposed to be autographed by all the creators or something. I just remember it was supposedly "special."

Yep, it was signed and it had all the 1st party Sega games in it I believe.

How did they go about sending that one out? Did they just randomly slip it in a regular box, or did they specifically sell it somewhere?

I'm not sure of the exact details. I'll google it and see if I can find something out. I'll be right back. :)

I'd like to see confirmation of this; I'd always thought they'd stuffed the only domestic copy of Shenmue II in the box. I had this theory b/c the "special last dreamcast" announcement was made at the same time as Shenmue II's XB exclusivity.

myke.

That was just a myth.

I thought that Gamepro ran a contest that gave the last one away. And that it was Signed by a buch of sega people. I don't know about the games though.
