James is no pushover, and I caught a bad break playing against Ike with a light character. At least I got to kill him with a bacon attack off the edge of the platform :D
 
For some reason, I can't find my sensor bar... so operating the windows is a bit broken for me. I think I know where it's at, I should have it back by late afternoon. I think the person who borrowed my Wii forgot to give it back to me (my wireless one, no idea where the wired one is... probably packed in storage).

Do you have a classic controller? I think you can navigate the menus without a sensor bar/wiimote.

Well, I tried using the Wii Lens Cleaning Kit and my Wii still won't read discs, so I'm definitely not going to be able to participate in this tournament.
 
I'll probably get it repaired eventually. I rarely use it outside of Smash Bros Brawl, but since I don't play that as often as I used to, I'm in no rush to get it fixed.

1: Close match. You scared me with a come back and I nearly lost.

That first suicide was me kicking thru you and off the stage as you switched pokemon right off the bat, and for some reason it counted as a third jump and I fell strait down :lol:
The second one I don't know what happened. I did some move off the stage and was instantly too low to jump back. Again within the first three seconds of the match, unreal :rofl:

But you suicided too when you were changing pokemon on the smaller airship and it took off and killed you. So there!

I probably should've won that match as Falco, but it was inevitable that I would suicide off the stage at one point. The other stages were luck of the draw, I knew the Mario Bros. stage the winner would be determined by who could avoid the turtles/crabs. ;)
 
Ok so I have a new plan.

I might be at a friends house tonight during the tourney time. If thats so, he has a MUCH better connection than me. I will suggest that I get to play during that time.

Hopefully this will work.

I just received a phone call this morning from my close friend who's graduating today. She just gave us the notice this morning and invited us. Smh.

Will everyone be okay with tomorrow? Otherwise, I'll push it to next Saturday?
 
I'd try setting your Wii in your DMZ first, then port forwarding if that doesn't work.

If you want to test it out sometime this week to make sure it works before the weekend, let me know and I'll give you a hand.

In order to increase attendance, I will do a daily countdown until Saturday happens. Hopefully, we have a big turnout. :pray:
