Uhm, you can't really do it online... when you preorder online you're getting the movie as well.

You can call them up to cancel but you may run into trouble as the online orders tend to know the steelbook is an item that needs to go back.

UGH. i preordered B&B on BB online but didn't add the ironpack to the cart. hope i can talk em into giving it to me for free

When I ordered the LOTR preorder steelbooks online they never sent the movies. I also never got around to attempting to cancel it, and I sure as heck wasn't planning on buying the trilogy when they weren't the extended releases. I guess I'll see what happens in store, otherwise call a CSR about it.

if the idea of Woody being on the TS1 steelbook, Jessie being on the TS2 steelbook and Buzz on TS3... I would really consider double dipping on TS1/2 just for the steelbook.

and I can't even imagine how amazing the inside will look.

I just checked inventory and every store in my district has 10 of the Toy Story 3 ironpacks on order. From my crappy small box store to the largest box store.

We still have some Beauty and the Beast ironpacks at my store

They checked in RSS when I went to try and pick one up today, and mentioned that they were in-house but not sellable.
 
Thanks for the info on the steelbook of toy story 3, I did not know one was coming out. I'm sure my son of two years will be staring at it alot.
 
Just got my order for store pickup for the BatB ironpack and waiting for confirmation.
Last time I did this for the Snow White case and I was rejected for instore pickup, but they sent it from the warehouse free shipping and even got money back for lower tax.

Crossing my fingers that they will let me pre-reserve the Toy Story 3 case today or else I guess I'm at Best Buy at open on Sunday.

I got mine today, but a bit sad that the case has light scratches on the back. Nothing I could have done to even try to avoid this without opening it up. I did grab 2 though, so I'll just assume for my sake that the other one is in mint condition.

Also, I mentioned it in the other thread but there's only enough room for 3 discs and the combo pack is supposed to be 4 discs isn't it? Unless Disney is putting the digital copy on the dvd..

I just got mine but I believe you are right and its a 4 Disk release. That insert has the 2 disks but it looks like they should have had one on the left side

EDIT: Just checked Amazon the Yellow outlined one is a 3 Disk with the DVD, Blu, and Digital
 
I just unwrapped my steelbook/ironpak/whatever for "BatB" and I have to say that it is the worst steelbook I've ever seen. Scratched face, dented spine and the disc holder/flipper missing. These defects could not be seen through the wrapping. Also the printing on the spine does not even line up in the center. Very disappointing! Hopefully I'll be able to exchange it.
 
princess and the frog is beautiful, alice in wonderland is meh and ts 1/2 are horrible because not in the same style as ts3..

I just looked at the 2 Disk Blu Ray + DVD and assumed it was just the Blu and DvD. Well now this sucks. Guess that is what i get for looking at pictures from an iPhone.

Best Buy is done for now. Beauty/Beast and Toy Story 3 were the only ones from this batch. Although keep in mind what happened last year with the Disney Steelbooks. :pray:

How does the ironpack differ from a steelbook? They look very much the same from the pictures.
 
speaking of the steelbooks from disney last year, was anyone able to get it on sale? because i saw a few from my local store and they were $34.

This sounds like a silly question, but is there a place to just buy just the steelbooks (sans movie discs) for the best buy Disney blu ray movies? I got all the ones that you got when you pre ordered (Up, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and now Toy Story 3). But I missed out on the rest of them, because I had already bought the regular editions. I don't want to re-buy all those movies again! I checked ebay, but no dice! Just thought I'd give it a shot.

I'm in this same position.

thing is, there's really no place to just get the cases, you have to buy the movie with them :\

But I know how you feel because I own all of the blu's from last years wave and this years wave and I'm sure as hell am not double dipping on every movie.
