Superstore Canada 25% Off Sale

Was shopping at a local Superstore (Dufferin & Steeles; Toronto), noticed the 60GB Xbox 360 going for $279.99 + 25% off before tax. So, after calculation, you'll be paying $230.xx + (including tax). Also, the Xbox 360 (white ones) are also on sale for $39.99 + 25% off.

What white ones? It's decent for those who don't already own one and want a harddrive along with it. I hope this is Canada-wide...

Thankfully I was at a superstore yesterday, so I think I know what he's talking about. They're selling 360 controllers for $40, I didn't see any sign of 25% off, but I may need to go back and price fix some games I just bought.

Picked up Red Alert 3 and Stranglehold for $10 each.

I'd guess he's seeing those pink triangular sale stickers. If that's the case then the deal is store specific. Stores stick those onto stock they specifically want to move for whatever reason, and the items need to be manually discounted at the till.

A big no-go at Edmonton South today. No additional 25% on Xbox. Signs everywhere stating "select items up to 50% off", but of course that seemed to be on junk.

It might've been that particular Superstore; I don't visit Superstores much. Anyhow, somebody did make mention of "triangle-shaped" 25% off stickers...he/she is correct, the stickers were so. So, that gives more fire to the fact that it must be store specific sales.

But, if you're around Toronto and want to pick up a 60GB Xbox 360 Premium I suggest you check out the Superstore at Dufferin and Steeles...$230 (including tax) is a damn fine deal.
