Supreme Commander $37.99 w/free ship @ Frys.com

i really hope this lives up to total annihilation. that was the first game i was ever crazy about. i would spend hours as a 10 year old playing that game. it was one of my first online games and it is still one of the best strategy games ever made imo. the physics of the bombers and the way they dropped their payload is absolutely perfect. the music was awesome as well.

unfortunately my computer is no where near powerful enough to support supreme commander =( oh well.

still alive ($49.99 is crossed out, it's 37.99 when you add it to cart).

I'm going to end up waiting to see if EBgames has it for $40 when released because I have a big credit there... Frys store will end up having it for 37.99 the first week anyway (probably, like most games).

Well, it wasn't. Yes I know you have to add it to your cart to see the price. Its just YMMV on when you catch it, as typical Outpost/Frys.

Yep yep.. sometimes those special prices only show up in the cart.. and not from the outside.. :applause:

Wait a minute--in my case it wouldn't even show up when it was in the cart. I mean it is typical of Fry's to play the shell game on sale prices, on one minute, off the next, whether you put it in your cart or not.
 
I placed my order for Supreme Commander after seeing it posted here, and just now I received an e-mail from Frys.com saying that

"We apologize but the item(s) you ordered are currently out of stock and we are unable to provide a definite ship date at this time."

I assume this is standard since the game hasn't been released yet. I was just wondering if anybody else has pre-ordered from Frys.com and received a similar e-mail.
 
Yeah, and since I pre-ordered GTA 4 for 360 they have already e-mailed me twice making me e-mail them back to keep the order open. Their system obviously doesn't know the difference between a backorder and a pre-order.
 
it went up to $39.99 a few days ago, and went up again today to $49.99. If it does happen to drop back down I'll probably preorder it, but I'm guessing the frys store will have it for $39.99 or $37.99 on release.
 
For anyone that is interested they have released the single player demo.

Skip the campaign and go to the skirmish if you are already familiar with Total Anhilation.
