Surprisingly the Last Movie You Saw Didn't Suck

Fight Club 10/10

Movie is really timeless. If you have never seen this movie go get it. It's one of those movies that is just as good the 3rd and 4th time you watch as you catch on to something you never noticed the last time you watched it.

Took my nephews to see Kung Fu Panda and I ended up enjoying it a lot. Almost spit out my drink at one point because I was caught off guard on one of the jokes.

I really want to see the Dark Knight after all the reactions people are having. I'm kinda worried though that the current generation of the franchise will probably have peaked with it. They need to have a pretty fucking awesome Penguin, Riddler, or Mr. Freeze lined up. Because Heath Ledger might have got the ultimate swan song in the history of cinema. He's already a lock for any sort of top five movie villain performances ever, and most of the power in his performance comes from not speaking at all, just body language.

Fight Club was ok... not a perfect movie in my book... it has its diehard fans though

I watched The Sure Thing... cant believe Id never seen this John Cusack gem... loved me some Daphne Zuniga too

The first few batmans were all downhill after Nicholson's portrayal of the Joker. Think you are getting a little ahead of yourself by calling a performance you haven't seen one of the 5 top movie villians ever (maybe comic book villians but not the entire spectrum of movie bad guys). These same die hards seem to think Heath is a lock for an oscar as well... not saying this movie will not kick ass, but it is being built up way too high...
Then you must've never watched those old Challenge of the Superfriends type cartoons growing up...

My latest... Identity... decent in places
You're right, I never have. ;)

Looking forward to see The Dark Knight either today or tomorrow...hopefully

Pretty much the most awesome thing ever. Was hyped to hell, but went beyond my expectations.
Same here.

My same reaction as well, minus the hyped to hell part. Then again, I only got caught up in some of the hype in the last few days. I purposely kept myself away from anything Batman for the last month and a half or two.

The penguin would be difficult to get going, but I could definitely see a Riddler, Mr. Freeze, or even a Hush in the Batman universe. Hush would kick ass. Then again, we all know the next one's with Harvey Dent. Had Heath not died, they could have continued his arc line by showing Arkham and him escaping, then him taking control of or bringing Two-Face to finality. It would suck to have a Two-Face Riddler pairing again; it wouldn't make much sense either. A Hush/Two-Face Batman movie would kick ass. IT would have kicked ass to have a Joker, Hush, Two-Face combo. I really wonder what they'll do with the Joker character as he is clearly poised to come back with how they wrote the script.

Charlie Bartlett.

It was a lot of fun: really funny, a bit dark, and surprisingly deep.

It could easily be described as a generational successor to movies like Pump Up The Volume and, to a lesser extent, Heathers. Maybe Anton Yelchin is the next Christian Slater?

Maybe that's not really a compliment? :)

TDK. I didn't even buy tickets in advance, cuz a local theater did NOT allow Fandago purchasing. Guy at the ticket window even gave me student discount for all the tickets I bought (even though I only showed my ID) :D

starship troopers 3!!!

It has bad cg, stupid 1 liners, and such a terrible story that it ends up being a mindless fun action movie. 2/5

Isn't that why you watch starship troopers anyways? oh and u get boobs.

and?

That's exactly what I'm expecting

Just saw "don't mess with the zohan"

I went into the movie expecting a train wreck of a film. Its not as good as the old Adam Sandler movies but its an enjoyable film. The hummus prop got lame after the third time it was used, which is about 10minutes into the film. overall 6/10. you will get a few good laughs out if it.
Doomsday
I expected it to be complete garbage, but if you like 80s movies like Escape from New York, you're going to like this movie!
The Dark Night.

.....My mind is completely and absolutely obliterated.
So obliterated you forgot the title is "The Dark Knight."

The Dark Knight

Sucks that I was the only person in the theater laughing when the Joker did his magic trick. Oh well. Awesome movie.

Does Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog count as a movie?

Josh Whedon, the writer of firefly, wrote this Comedy/Drama internet series during the writer strike. I can't recommend it enough since its only 40minutes and probably will be over looked by most people. 8/10
