Surprisingly the Last Movie You Saw Didn't Suck
Let the Right One In

I think this is my MOTY. I've seen it twice and I'm just blown away by it.

That's pretty cool! No, we just saw it at a movie theater in NYC...no Q&A afterwards, unfortunately. I did go see OhGr perform a few weeks back and they were giving out big Repo! one-sheets at the merch booth, though.
I saw Let The Right One In this weekend and after thinking about it for day, man that movie is a lot deeper than I thought. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I wonder how the american remake will be.

It's called "Twilight" and I hear it's absolute horseshit.

;)
Garbage pail kids

movie is still awesome the 100th time
Yeah, awesome. Well, everything except the weird wardrobe choices some of the characters make.

yea....but the movie still kicks ass till this day

Quantum of Solace.

I'm *very* forgiving of Bond films, and like them all ("Never Say Never Again" notwithstanding) to some degree. But this movie was an unmitigated fucking mess from start to finish. Sloppy storytelling, a dismally uninteresting villain, substituting "mysterious organization" for a genuine story to fool the viewer into thinking that it's sensible that the plot is a shoddy hunk of shit, unlikable female interests, copycat action scenes that were more exciting in Casino Royale, and a 'shit blowing up' final showdown with the villains that was just corny as all hell.

This is not the same Bond from Casino Royale. fucking pitiful.

Isn't this thread for movies you thought didn't suck? And aren't you supposed to be playing Oblivion? ;)
Rewatched City of Violence last night. That movie kicks major ass every time I watch it.
though his new one, Dachimawa Lee, got mixed reviews, I still think it is worth watching. I found it fucking hilarious though I can understand people's gripes about it having too many gags

Watched Dolores Claiborne on HBO the other night and really enjoyed it.

I would definitely include it (along with Shawshank and Needful Things) on my list of not-entirely-horrible-movies-made-from-Stephen-King-books.

I'm looking forward to watching it once I get the chance. It looks too crazy to not be entertaining.

Needful Things was excellent. Add the original televised Salem's Lot and you're golden.

I want to see that movie so fucking bad. I'm trying to find a place to preorder the Blu-Ray. Yeah, I don't even need to rent it, I'm taking a gamble and just buying it...well, not like there will be any place to rent it in America anyway.

Didn't know they were doing a remake, that should suck (no pun intended). Leave it to us to remake movies that only just came out not too long ago. Japan called, they want 90% of the American horror movie box office take. I watched One Missed Call the other day (terrible movie) and apparently that's another bullshit Japanese ripoff.

Get the First Press edition, the soundtrack is surprisingly good.

Got back from The Day the Earth Stood Still a little while ago. I wasn't very interested in seeing it, but I wanted to hang out with friends.

It was a horrible movie, just as I'd predicted.

8 1/2 - I saw this at the video store and I remembered hearing that it was a must see and that was it. All I could think of while viewing the movie was 'what the fuck is this?!?' but I enjoyed most of it besides the parts that drag on (20 minutes on the cutting room floor would of helped,) but it was still good.

Stargate - I haven't seen it since it was a new release and I enjoyed it just as much. I have always had a man crush on Kurt especially when he has a rad flattop. :whistle2:\"

Speed & Angels
Hulu - Damn good documentary on every 80's kids dream job, being a Tomcat fighter pilot.

Muppets Christmas (Letters to Santa) Hulu - Ok but it just made me want to watch....

A Muppet Family Christmas - Damn great, almost better than I remembered it being. If you grew up with the Muppet Show, Sesemy Street and Fraggle Rock like I did this is a MUST SEE, AGAIN! Next I'm going to have to dig out my favorite Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas!

I watched This is Spinal Tap again.

*After Nigel plays a beautiful piano piece*
What's it called?
Nigel: It's called Lick my Love Pump
Appaloosa...I thought was a very good movie
Where'd you see this? Is it out on DVD yet? I really wanted to catch it in theaters, but it got lost in the shuffle. Love Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen, and heard this was very underrated.

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army

Tons of fun...liked it a lot.
Brick.

Mmm~
I love that goddamn movie. Joseph Gordon Levitt is amazing; if you liked his performance in Brick you should also see Mysterious Skin and The Lookout.

Coffee and pie, oh my. ;)
Wanted.

Much better than I was expecting.
I thought that until I read the comics and saw how great that movie could have been
