SWEET JESUS , HELP ME please

I downloaded a program called " Internet Download Manager " . I am going to call it IDM for short ;)
after installing it said I needed to restart my computer/laptop so it could start working, so I restarted it. On restart it started up and said thanks for downloading...blah, blah , blah. I click on Google Chrome ( fav. browser ) and it loads a screen that said this internet page couldnt be opened ( oh SHIT ) I then frantically type in " www.cheapassgamer.com " and I got the same damn message :bomb::bomb::whistle2:#:whistle2:#:bomb::bomb: . I then deleted IDM form my laptop and ran CCleaner to remove any registry files and to make sure it was completely removed from my computer. I then restarted my laptop once again and have the same problem ( browsers wont open any web pages , but my connection strength is 97% )

If you wandering I am on my desktop at the moment :whistle2:# that is how I am typing this.

Is there a way to load my computer to where it was before I installed the program ? If so can I be given a easy tutorial

Thanks if you can help , I think I might format the hard drive but I dont want to get rid of Windows 7 , ughh sooo confused and pissed off :bomb::bomb:

You can try System Restore. Since you're using windows 7 just type in System Restore in the seach bar and it should come up. This is assuming you haven't disabled system restore and have no saved points, but by default it should have been on.

Type cmd in the search field in the start button thingy.

type ipconfig
type ping and the numbers after your "Default Gateway"
ie
ping 192.168.1.2

Tell us what you see.

edit: do what khaos says first.

I love how you have a signature showing IP/OS/Browser saying you can do worse if messed with and don't know what the fuck system restore is.

+1

But yeah, system restore is the answer. There also is the option of using a Windows image if you've been using the built in backup function of Windows 7.
