The latter; I think it's just speculation because a giant like Amazon not having Nintendo first party stuff before launch is very suspect

Amazon has not had any 1st party Nintendo games up for preorder for a while now. So it’s been speculated that Nintendo noticed there was a problem with them shipping out things early and breaking street date.

I mean it doesn’t exactly take a genius detective to figure out where the problem is when any yahoo that gets a game early needs to get their likes/upvotes and posts it on the internet with ‘look what Amazon delivered early.’

I think they are doing code in a box because people are used to game cases, I bet so little DLC games that are card codes are bough from Walmart, Target, and Best Buy compared to games with a case
