Just started playing the one I got from TRU recently. I was afraid it might be like the PS1 Mana game with the same graphic style but lack of any real plot to drive things forward. Instead it appears to be a solid action RPG that I would have paid a few buck more for if I'd known.

The first boss was a pushover but they often are.

I've been playing through my copy and this has been one of my few complaints. I'm probably 1/3 done with the game and so far none of the bosses have posed even a little bit of a problem.

Hopefully that improves as the game goes on, because I haven't even had to think about spending any time leveling up at this point.
