I've heard it from here but never believed it. So there I was, at Blockbuster, trying to debate whether or not to rent a game (man after an awesome holiday season it's really been crap since) so I go over to the games for sale. New games. Shrink-wrapped PS1 games. And there it was. Just sitting there. Only one. In it's plastic box thing, with a sticker marked $14.99. Now, I know the game has dropped in value, but I was pretty happy considering I once debated buying it for $40 used at GameStop. I opened it and played it. Man this game rules. The graphics are really beautiful. The voice acting is so bad it's good. There's so much to do...this really puts a lot of current generation games to shame. Even Lament of Innocence. Ok, brag is done.

I bought this game twice. Once on its original release day and then again last summer. I'd gotten rid of my PSone and games to get a Dreamcast. It's a true masterpiece and the best game in the entire Castlevania franchise. To get it for $14.99 is a real treat, good find.

I got mine used, but in uber mint condition at a pawn shop for....

get ready....

1.00

 - I win this round of cheapassness. LMAO

Actually, it puts every next-gen game to shame, every single one. Nice purchase :D

Good find, but I found my copy cheaper. I went to a local comic book shop a few years ago(and the game was rare then) for some shopping. I looked at the games they have for sale and found a non-greatest hits copy in mint condition for $5. I'll never sell that game for anything.

This game is so good, that the future Mrs. CheapyD likes watching me play it and she was very skeptical because its a PS1 game.

Sometimes, I'll still say "..sllliiice!" out of fond memory of that familiar from Symphony of the Night when the occasion warrants it. :)

I've been playing a lot of SOTN lately and am really enjoying it.

...and man, the soundtrack....soo good!

Yeah, its easily my favorite soundtrack of all time. My favorite song plays in the part with the crumbling bridge and floating skulls. Good stuff

new to this site, whatsup. After looking for this game for months and with no luck i said F**k it ill just buy it preowned off of Ebgames.com, it was 19.99 preowned which is pretty good considering Gamespot had it in store for get ready..... 37.99!!!!!!!!!.. so i just got it in the mail today, and i was dissapointed-->> NO MANUAL or backing to the case, just the disc, but this is the funny thing, the disc is in PERFECT condition, so why is the book missing if the disc is in such good condition?! dont make sense. heh.. its the original disc 2 not greatest hits. anyways my 2 cents....

pss.. Does anyone kno anyone that has an extra case and booklet?.. or where i can purchase one?... thx.
