Syncope, Best Games for when you feel like crap

Not sure where to put this as it concerns multiple systems but this seemed like the right place.
I have Syncope and it gets pretty severe to the point where I am off work and can't do much but sit in a chair for a 1-4 days at time because I get lightheaded if I am physically active(if I sit or lay down I am usually able play games for an hour or 2 at a time) , also I have Fibromyalgia and generally bad health. One time I painted my nails with Sharpie because it was the only thing I could reach because every time I tried to stand up I got lightheaded if this gives you any insight to the boredom being stuck sitting on your rear for 4 days straight can bring.
I have had a Wii and DS and have recently gotten an 360 and PS3 for Christmas, due to my busy life with my job and animal rescue work I usually only have time to play games when I am sick. My PS2 is easier than the Wii during these times because of the extra movement with the Wii that's why I wanted the 360 and PS3. I usually wait and buy games when I can get used for under $20, the new systems have been a treasure trove of possibilities with many games produced over the last few years that are now very cheap.
I am hoping for recommendations of older games or new and still cheap that are fun and engaging that will be fun when I am well but that I can make progress on when I am sick. If you could play it with a concussion or while drinking then I might be able to do well at it. I like games but am not the greatest gamer in the world. I don't keep up with current games to know whats available and what my options are.
I really like games that have action but you also have to solve puzzles along the way. I like the old Spyro games and Whiplash was my favorite for the original XBOX, they are older but still my favorites. I am not fond of games where I have to keep switching characters like sport games, 2 or 3 characters is okay but I can't process that many options when I am sick.
I figured it was worth a try to ask the people who have tried everything and played everything for their opinions. They may not be your favorite games or have high ratings but you may have played something that is infinitely more amusing than a Sharpie marker.

+1 Katamari: if Katamari can't lift your spirits, no game can
Also, Elite Beat Agents for the DS. Puts a smile on my face every time.

Pretty much any adventure game, since those tend to require thinking and focus on story. The best ones are on PC and the DS though.
