Anyway, I ordered around 6 AM Eastern on the 15th and it was delivered on the 19th (yesterday/Tuesday).
Still waiting for mine, takes a while to get to cali.

i dont think ive ever had ebgames.com ship new and used games together. they usually ship them seperately, but wont charge you extra for it.

Lately, my new and used games have come together in the same package.

Only one voucher per person kills it for me. I really don't feel like paying the $30 difference on a $50 game, which are probably the only games you can find sealed at EB anymore (fuck you EB)

I just ordered one. How long does it usually take to get the coupon?

Edit: I got a link to that rewards program for a $10 coupon. Does everyone do this and just cancel right away?
thnx
Click on the link Cheapy provided on the first page. There's a big red box that says Special Offer. I'm failing to see your trouble finding this.

You'd basically be getting it for free.
Shows up as $20 for me. Curses, I would so take the game if they gave me $10 to do it. :)
wow i ordered this tuesday morning and my package came in the mail today with just SAVER shipping... but only the cheap PO game i orderd to use SAVER was in it. The packing slip lists only that game, but my confirmation email has syphon filter on it. Has anyone else had EB split up orders before?

Yup, several times in fact. I think the reason was that it's coming from a different disturbution center.

Yeah, back to $19.99, bah. I rather them pay me to take the game.

Okay, this is driving me bonkers. I go to the page, scroll down to where it says "special offer" and I get is "Receive a . Purchases must be made between 04/15/05 - 05/01/05. " and there is ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to click on.

Could someone PLEASE link to the actual REBATE, not the product page, not the thread, but the actual page the REBATE is listed ON.

THNX

emailed EB yesterday jus making sure that we could pohotcopy the UPC to send in, this is what they replied:

Hello from EBgames.com,

Thank you for contacting EBgames.com.

In order to process the rebate we require the original UPC. We apologize
for the inconvenience however it is necessary.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to respond to this
email. You can also give us a call at 877-432-9675, 7 days a week from
8 am to Midnight Eastern Standard Time.

Best Regards,

That's strange they now say they need the original UPC code. The packing slip should have been enough anyway for them (I know it's not but I mean I think they should just require the packing slip) since it proves you bought it from them since EB is the one who actually processes the rebate.

I got exactly the opposite reply.

Anyway, I've done previous voucher deals similar to this and they accepted a xerox without any problems.

"Thank you for contacting EBgames.com.

A photo copy of the UPC code will work just fine.

hahaha.....maybe it depends who gets your email lol, guess ill just do a copy then, THANKS!

dont playstation games also come with a upc on the security sticker on the side of the case? somebody here on cag said that they have sent those into ebgames.com and that they worked for rebates, which doesnt really surprise me, since it is an original upc...
I thought a photocopy was valid and you didnt have to cut the original UPC out.
I've sent in rebates with the original UPC, copies of the UPC and no UPC, and they've taken it no problem. Same goes for the packing list, sent in the original and a copy, and it worked without an issue.

Yep, the upc on the security sticker will work.
In addition to that, my Siphon Filter came with a cardboard sleeve (which has the identical front and back image of the jewel case) so I have 3 upc.

All I need is 3 different packing slips [ just kidding :) ]

One final note, ebgames love me. I got free shipping (ie. cheap and slow) by buying a used game with my order (saver), but my games were mailed by FedEx and UPS. I think ebgames must be losing money on my sale (sending a $2 used game via FedEx)

I never thought about that. Good to know for future reference.

DAMN IT ALL!! :bomb:

Why must my computer torment me so?

I'm asking a huge favor for anyone who can help me, could someone make a screen cap of the complete rebate form and email me it? Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Okay, I definitely got this. Was never interested in the game, so at $20, the buy one get one free aspect did nothing for me. But paying $10 to get a $20 voucher? I'm *so* there.
can i use the gift voucher on a preorder instore pick up item?
If it's ordered from the website, yes.
When they are basically paying you to take the game, it deserves its own thread.

EDIT: Price raised from $10 to $20....Back to $10...back to $20
Thanks Cheapy, you're still my idol!

I also picked up a PO DC extension cable that I've been looking for for my saver shipping. Basically $2 shipping + taxes...not so bad. $11.99 was my total. :)

Has anyone had problems getting these gift vouchers? Now a bit worried that this might be one of those mail in rebate fiascos

I'm starting to think that someone needs to make a FAQ for EBgames.com rebate vouchers and sticky it somewhere. I will point out from past experiences that:

1) Photocopies of the UPC work. Personally, I just photocopy (in color) the back of the game case and send it in. Some have sent in less (like circling the SKU on the packing slip) or none at all and still got the vouchers.

2) When there are multiple titles on a voucher and it says "One Per Household", it might mean "One Voucher, Per Title, Per Household". In the past I have had success with sending in the same voucher form twice while applying for two different titles on those similiar vouchers (one title each)...all to the very same household.

3) EBgames.com is very reliable in sending out the vouchers.

4) Buyer beware, as EBgames.com can change their policy at any time. What might have worked in the past might not work in the future.
