Taiko Drum Master found at Circuit City $34.99
This has been posted a couple of times already, use the searh function next time...And yes, it's worth it.
I am aware that it has been posted already. I was just asking if it was worth it because it was only listed in a whole Circuit City topic. Thank you.

Yes, it's a great game.

I bought it for $50 and got an extra one now for $35... especially since ebgames will let you trade in the 2nd copy of the game for $17 right now (including the bonus $5 per game).

It's worth it just for the Drumcon alone since it's more expensive in Japan. If you hate the game itself just trade it in and buy import instead.

The SOB at my EB wouldn't take it without the drum. Also, he wouldn't take any jampacks, primal, or Exibtion discs I had, claiming they were on an "exclusion list". When I tried explaining that I had had no problems last Sunday, he said that I should have, and just got lucky, and then pulled a "Well I'm the store manager, so blah blah blah". OK, whatever, so I started looking around for anything to get with the buy 2 get 1 sale, which there was nothing good in stock, but while I was doing this, I heard the prick telling another employee "yeah, these guys come in all the time, trying to trade in shit they got for real cheap and get 10 bucks for it". THE SOB WAS TALKING ABOUT ME! I am NEVER going back to that EB. sorry for the rant, the Taiko Drum Master post made me remember it.

Who cares if you got it for cheap?! If he can actually resell it for cheap used as well why does it matter? After all you'd both be benefitting.

They wouldn't take it from me either. I tried again at another store. It worked. No worries.

I scored it for $30 earlier this week thanks to the GGC and I'd say it's worth $35. The track list is pretty good and for the most part the knock-offs don't sound that bad and the game is fairly challenging. My main gripe is that hit detection on the drum can be a bitch(I'm assuming this isn't an isolated incident), but most of the time it works fine. Anyone familiar with the imports(more specifically the track listing)?
If you have $5 off BB GGC you endup get it for $29.49. ;)
That's what I did, it was $32.42 after tax.

I had a hit detection problem at first too. Here's a few pointers I've figured out:

Hit it HARD (I think I was trying to be too gentle, don't break it, but don't be afraid to hit it)

If you feel the drum, you can find where the "buttons" are. The center 2 have a line running down the middle of them to separate them, so don't hit that, and the outside edge buttons aren't on the drum face, but at a slight angle on the sides. You can feel where by pushing in with you fingers.

Hope this helps
