Thanks to Black Friday, I now have a HDTV/Second Display Device. Gah, my desk looks cluttered. How did I end up with so many knicknacks?

Cheapy just game in here and bust a nut nerd load all over eveyone elses desk.

Yes, my calander is showing May 31, though I took the pic today. Yes, the left hinge on my laptop is broken. Yes, I need to clean me desk. And yes, my mousepad is a piece of paper.

360 games are on top of the clear boxes, which are full of GuitarFreaks/Drummania and Pop'n Music games and a few random American PS2 games.

On the bookshelf, from top to bottom are:
-Misc toys and DVDs (on top of the bookshelf)
-DVDs (Simpsons, Star Wars, etc.)
-More DVDs (Shinobi, Gamera 2006, Returner, etc.)
-Japanese PS2 games (Kingdom Hearts Final Mix 1 and 2+, SNK fighters, Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box, etc.)
-DS games (Club Nintendo exclusives, lots of American stuff)
-Gamecube Games (some favs like Smash Bros/Mario Kart and some newer stuff)
-Manga and Game Guides (Super Mario Kun, Rosario + Vampire, various game-related manga)

Unfortunately my shelf is FULL so I have a helluva time finding room for my new games. :lol:
 
Gameboy415, I prefer your desk to cheapys. its neat, but with lots of gaming memoribilla. I just love the yoshis on your monitor, and the snake on your ps3 looks like a lego man. and lego men rock. your pac man plushie is also cool. also, is that an evil mickey mouse on your 360?

The Solid Snake figure is a Kubrick. Kubricks are essentially big LEGO men, but you can find TONS of different kinds (X-men, anime character, game characters, etc.).
I also have the "Two Scoops!" Sun from Raisin Bran (at the top of my bookshelf), and a Master Chief (from Halo) Kubrick too.

About the Pac Man plush, it's actually motorized and walks around if you flip a switch on the bottom! Best of all, I got it for 100 yen! (under a buck!) :D

That is indeed an evil Mickey Mouse on top of my 360. I just bought it because I thought it looked bad-ass, but upon doing a bit of research I found out he's actually from the 1995 short "Runaway Brain". I can't believe I'd never heard of it before - it's quite good!!

First is my messy desk in my apartment. Though built as a gaming rig way back in '03, I've fallen out of PC gaming, so I don't have a desk conducive to that nor have I put up speakers, instead just using headphones. The desk is from my previous apartment, where it was in a corner. Now that it's up against a wall, I'd like a more standard width desk.



I do most of my work on my school laptop either on my couch at home or in my quad in the cohort space at school. Note that the green Xbox is a debug kit, not a Halo edition. The folks on the art side of the cohort space have immensely more knick-knacks and figures littering their cubicles. The little crecent shaped thing by the purple water gun is a "floating" wristrest that moves with my arm.

Four monitors off of one PC, one monitor off another PC. Five of those setups, if I remember right.

Guns are actually my biggest hobby, which is why I need to be a CAG! If I felt like looking like a badass I'd need a bigger desk.
They're "magazines" by the way for those who care...

I have the same reason for needing to be a CAG, though I haven't bought a new gun or game in the past six months or so. What's the pistol mag for?

Hey, my dad said when he was growing up you were only allowed 1 round in the gun at a time in Michigan @ the range. Is that true?

And yeah, the PRK does suck. At least they haven't taken away my mossberg 500.

Did you know that where ever guns are banned violent crimes increase? DC, NY, England, Australia. If i'm here to commit a crime you think a silly little "no guns allowed" law will stop me?

About 6 months ago the LAPD confiscated a cache of gang weapons and melted them down. I loved some of the "highlights" of the trove. Particularly three shoulder fired laser guided RPG's. Now, these are banned as well... but they have them.

Anyways, videogames cause more violent crimes than anything else in this world. Don't you read the news man! So why don't you get a new hobby.

Don't preach about how law abiding citizens should not have access to a defensive tool.

Not true at all. I don't know when or where this was in Michigan but I've certainly never experienced that.
