Tales of Symphonia - GameCube $34.88

for CC to price match it, you don't need to show them the ad, you just need to mention it to the employee at the store and they will call Target to check .

Yeah - I don't know about where YOU live, but all the Target stores in my area stopped carrying flyers. If you didn't get one in the paper (and they are rarely in the Washington Post), you are SOL. I have asked for one at the customer service desk many times only to hear "Sorry, the ones posted at the front entrance are the only flyers we have." That is SO STUPID to me... I mean letting customers carry them through the store would help to better promote the items on sale.

That's YMMV. I tried to go there asking about to PM the Star Wars Trilogy the week it was released (Fry's had it for 38 dollars), and I had to bring in an ad for them to PM it (it was 50 dollars there). So I brought in the ad, THEN they called, then I got about 10 dollars off of the set.

So, not all CC's will just accept your word for it, at least not the people here.

After price matching, will they accept a GGC? Pretty sure they will, but I would like some confirmation.

YMMV. Some will, but some won't because they are already beating the price.

Does anyone know if CC will price match a store if it's not in the area? For instance, the nearest Target here is probably a good hour away and I couldn't even tell you where the nearest Best Buy is.

Are you saying that CC accepts the GGC as a price match?

What I meant was:

Target has the game for $34
I go to CC and they price match 110%
Then, I use a GGC from BB added to it...

That's what I want to do. I am going over there tomorrow, so I may get it.

So CC does accept the GGC?
That would make it like $26.39 + tax!!!

Man, if I didn't already have ToS, I would be all over this!

Yes, they accept the GGC. I just wanted to know if I could combine the price match and the GGC, and from what I hear, it's YMMV. Never hurt to try though! :)

Has to be a local competitior. By local I was told by a CC rep that meant within 30 miles.

From their website:

If you've seen a lower advertised price from another local store with the same item in stock, we want to know about it. Bring it to our attention, and we'll gladly beat their price by 10% of the difference. If you see a lower advertised price (including our own sale prices) within 30 days of your purchase, we'll refund 110% of the difference.

Our policy applies only to advertised prices. It does not apply to special offers or promotions, including rebates, free-with-purchase offers and special financing. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide price matches online, so please visit the closest Circuit City store to take advantage of our Price Guarantee.

I have TOS already but i'm Kinda confused here, so I can actually go to CC and show them a Game gift card from BB and they'll take off 5 dollars? The reason why i'm asking is because I wanna try to do it for star ocean 3, since CC is selling it for 39.99 can I argue that bestbuy has a GGC?

so u can buy tod just 24.88 + tax then just buy halo2 or gta if u don wanna halo2 or gta just...refund ur money..

CC accepts competitors coupons, and yes, they accept the GGC.

If the difference is only $1.50 I would just buy it at Target. I mean to find parking in the city and the pure aggravation of driving from Target to Circuit City (about a 10min drive) just to wait on a long ass cutomer service line just to argue my case to some dumb monkey behind the counter who couldn't care less about their policy or helping me out....nah...screw that...ain't worth it to me. Not for $1.50.

There are many different ways to get it for cheaper. It will not only be a 1.50 difference if you use the GGC coupon or preorder halo 2. You will save an additional five dollars that way. or even 10 if you refund your preorder of halo 2.
