tales of symphonia?

Anyone think this would be worth getting? I'm a decent rpg fan, not huge but it looks pretty good. I also thought this could be rare in a few years so might be worth getting. What do u guys think about it?

I liked tales of phantasia alot, and this game shows alot of promise to be the best rpg gamecube has yet which isnt saying much but I digress, rent it first if your unsure.

I'll have to try it before I buy it. I'm not too interested as of now. I loved Tales of Destiny, but I recently watched a friend playing Tales of Destiny 2 (JP: Tales of Eternia) and it gave me a bit of a distaste of the series. I don't know how much fun I'd get out of this.

For preordering ToS, you get a lithograph (nice print) of the Tales cast - roughly 9"x14". But as for the art book, it is apparently supposed to come with the game itself. That part is a bit confusing...

I've already preordered it. I could use a good RPG with a fighting system that doesn't get boring. The Tales system works well and is quite fun. It was rated about a 9 in the Japanese version review I saw, too. I'm sold!

ToS looks great. I must pick it up. The Gamecube is really starting to get some good RPGs.

One of the many games I am looking forward to on the Gamecube this year. I don't know what it is, but it seems like the GC hsa a ton of games coming out that are must haves for me. Unlike the years past.

Early word is good and early reviews seem to be fairly positive.

As this is open to the "trade 2 for $20 credit" trade at EB, it might not be a bad idea to trade-in for the pre-order. (I personally traded two EB $5 games.)

If it comes out and the reivews are terrible (or you rent it and don't like it), just return your game and get $50 credit at EB.
