Tales of Vesperia 360 for 14.98 @ amazon.com
Just pick up the game you cheap bastards! $15 is a steal for a game of this caliber.
This. I bought two copies last time it was the DOTD. Still have them sealed. :bouncy:
Wasn't the big piece of evidence for localization an interview with Yuri's English voice actor where he said he had been called back in to do additional dubbing? What ever happened with that-- did it turn out to be for the anime instead of the PS3 game?
It was kind of up in the air. Might be true, might not be. Someone else supposedly ratted him out to Namco and may have gotten him in trouble though, which was pretty dickish of them if true.
Anyway, take it all with a grain of salt.

Also about the post here mentioning it; the voice actor who mentioned the Wii game (which turned out to be Graces and not Vesperia) was the Japanese VA for Duke. So that has no relevance.

Just finished this game a few days ago and I must say it is one of the best RPGs I've played since FFX. You become so attached to the characters that once you reach the end, you don't want it to be the end and you're begging for more! Amazing game!!

Bah, I gave into the black friday pressure and bit on this along with a copy of blue dragon for around $30.

Now that I've bought ToV, consider it inevitable till the PS3 version is announced within the next month or two(that's just the kind of luck that I have).
If you like JRPGs at all you owe it to yourself to try this game. It is outstanding for full price and phenomenal for 75% off. Best JRPG of the current generation, easy.
This: "if you like JRPGs at all..." It's fun to read these JRPG threads because people are so passionate. I just don't know if I'm that guy, with several titles started but largely unplayed. I had decided to pass after the trailers I watched left me unmoved, but you guys have me questioning myself... lol

:) Yeah, I know what you mean... I'm part way through Lost Odyssey, part way through Star Ocean 4, part way through Last Remnant... It seems like there are a lot of JRPGs this gen that are good, but not so good that you can't put them down. Vesperia was the one that inspired me to play nonstop until I reached the end. (And I came in with reservations because Tales of Symphonia has such a great reputation and I had tried that game and didn't enjoy it very much.) If you do decide to pick up Vesperia, I hope you have as much fun with it as I did.

Those of you waiting for the ps3 version will be waiting for quite a while, as they still haven't announced the US version, so just buy this game and play it again once it comes out sometime next year.
