That's a pretty sick deal, and I am definitely tempted, but I can't help but feel like there will be stellar deals this Christmas.
 
Vita isn't selling well and the economy is still in the dumps so while these offers are tempting I too am holding off until the holiday sales. I can see them bundling the system with a game, gift card & memory card.
 
It is a bit confusing how Sony could end up following Nintendo's lead with their new portable by not having a lot of support for it upon its launch. I am thoroughly happy with my Vita and do not regret the purchase at all, however I was able to trade in an old iPod (that was getting basically no use since I got a tablet) for $150 and then they had a PSP offer and I got almost $50 there. I felt as though it only cost me $50 for the system and though the selection of games is limited, the good games are stellar. Uncharted is not on par with the console games, but it is still amazing. Fighting game fans should be ecstatic as UMvC3 and MK are both incredible and Blazblue plays great too. Hot Shots is an incredible online game, and for all the bashing Resistance gets, the game makes it clear we now have a capable portable FPS device.

To summarize, this is a good deal in my opinion. If you got the cash get on it.
 
I'd be all over this deal if I didn't have a Vita and Uncharted already. Such a good game! Sadly no multiplayer though :( That would've been AWESOME!
 
You know that deals are coming later in the year, but will it match up with what you get now? That wifi/3g model looks tempting, and I'm not sure you are going to get the 8gb card with the future deals. I'm worried that Sony will downgrade the extras to save on the deal.

I've seen that Assassins Creed is getting it's system--any confirmation on what comes packaged with it? The question is whether it will match with Uncharted, 8gb, the downloadable game (after 1 month paid subscription) and the cheap $10 screen protector?

I'm sure there will be a nice holiday bundle or Black Friday bundle. Just depends on if it's worth the wait.

This is a good deal though.
 
Nice deal that's very tempting, but my wallet's screaming, "Wait to see what's up with Black Friday!" :)
 
Very tempting but something inside me is telling me to wait. Especially since Sony just announced another down slide in their latest financial reports so heres hoping for a decent price drop this holiday season.
