Sometimes repackaged (or As Is) is for items no longer in the system or something they want to manually mark down. They typically don't get reduced in price again, I have seen those items at the same price for 6+ months.

Anyone else get in on that target b2g1 pre orders and bought my hero academia 2? I cancelled two and kept one it was showing $44 total but once it shipped it showed $50
 
I wonder if Target will increase it's clearance offerings to try and entice more people to come into their stores and possibly be infected. Since their online clearance deals are completely random and different from the brick and mortar deals. Also, it will be interesting to see if I even have a Circle deals thread to make anymore, as Circle coupons only work in stores, and if Target can't get people into the stores anymore, they will either have to make the Circle coupons work with online orders, or get rid of Circle completely.

I also posted this in the Animal Crossing thread and it’s not clearance but Just to let people know, the Journal that comes as a bonus at Target rings up for 1 cent. That’s right I said 1 cent. This happens a lot at Target with bonus items. The Yoshi magnets and Pokémon key chains also were only 1 cent. Just being able to get an employee to sell you one separately would be the problem. I know this thread is about deals at Target, so I think this qualifies 

 
If anybody was planning on going to Ross, Marshall's, TJMaxx or Kohls in California you're out of luck because they're all closed until further notice because of the stay-at-home call from Newsom.

My store remodeled recently and now there is a dedicated clearance/repackage section that is like 30 feet long near the farthest back corner to the front doors. They put all kinds of products there from every category. I love it as I can check the clearance at that one spot.

 
Target stores are not answering any calls. I went to my local store to buy the PowerA switch controller that is on sale for $9.99 and it showed 2 in stock but the worker couldn't find either of them. Said the Target 15 min away had 4 in stock but when I called, a message said they aren't providing inventory and I couldn't even get through to anyone. I went home and called up the customer service number, explained my situation and the guy put my on hold while he called, after being on hold for 5 min, he comes back and tells me he called 3 different stores using their direct line and couldn't get through. He said this is the first time this has happened and the only thing I can do is drive there to see for myself.

Not sure if this is the new norm but local Targets are not answering any phone calls today.

They may be getting slammed with drive up orders. I did it a couple times this week so I wouldn't need to step in the store. It's unfortunate. store managers may also be emphasizing in store customers first . Hopefully your area isnt getting hit hard by COVID-19 and there are no advisories to avoid unneeded travel. NYS is a federal disaster area and I think the governor will order all residents to not leave the house (except essential employees) by the end of the week if things keep going the way they are going.

Governor Cuomo already issued a stay-at-home mandate a couple of days ago. Same for Connecticut and New Jersey since they were all kind of working together on it. I mean you can still go out to do stuff like shopping and solitary exercise, just no congregating together and group activities. Anyway, yeah if you are having trouble getting through to your local Target store on the phone it may be for the reason that you laid out.

WTH man how did b2g1 start already it usually starts 4am ET but when I checked around 3am ET b2g1 was already in effect. We’re there any games I missed on? Aside from resident evil remake

RE3 remake preorders already sold out a while back when the price dropped to $50. I don't think you missed anything.

 
usual list for b2g1, but better than nothing. picked up medievil, days gone and assassin's creed 3 remastered.

We know some guests might want to make a return or exchange during that time frame. To accommodate those cases, we’re extending our return policy by three weeks after April 16."

To work around that issue, place an order for Doom and 2 other games that are the same price. Immediately go to the order page and cancel the other two games. You need to do this immediately or the order will start preparing to and you will no longer be able to cancel.
For past sales, I have been able to add preorders of games of similar value for the b2g1 but there aren't any preorders other the p5 steelbook. Not even in the board games either
 
I don't know about you guys but I have a giant ass backlog of games that I can just play and I feel like maybe games aren't important things to buy during a global pandemic but that's just me.

Me too but apparently it’s somebody’s “birthday” I got to get them something. Hell, I don’t even celebrate my own birthday. Too much backlog from previous clearance.

If you figure out how to successfully celebrate a birthday during the quarantine, let me know. My birthday is coming up in May, and all of my plans went out the window.
 
I mean it would be a “good deal” for u guys if FF Remake is eligible. At least RE3 remake is eligible but currently oos. Well Nioh 2 is eligible. Persona 5 is eligible. Yakuza collection is eligible. Sorry I’m just naming the PS exclusives. MK11 is eligible, death stranding CE, even my hero academia 2 which came out recently, SFV Champion.

I mean I wish Cyyberpunk, last of us 2, ghost of Tsushima, etc were eligible but gotta be content with them giving us pre orders sometimes.

My birthday is April 16th and my second daughter is due to be born five short days later (my wife has a C-section scheduled for April 21st), so I get the double whammy of not only being alone for my special day, but not getting to be there for my daughter during her birth! Oh, and I just lost my mom to leukemia back in January on my parents’ 38th wedding anniversary...2020 has definitely sucked the big one thus far.

It's really not. Target has done it this way for years (splitting the discount across the items in such promos) purposely so that one or more can be returned without necessarily having to return them all.

Not a single copy at my store, apparently they don’t carry that game in my store. At the same time, too afraid going outside.
 
Can someone confirm that the cancel method to get new releases for $40 is still working? I just got a notification that the RE3 order I placed during the last B2G1 has shipped and they charged my card $53 rather than the $43 I was expecting.

That does seem like a great deal. Working through Yakuza 6 at the moment and I've been hesitant to pick up Judgment since I'm still saddled with the original PS4 and performance when exploring Kamurocho in 6 hasn't been great... Really bad time to upgrade to the Pro with the PS5 around the corner. Wish the PC ports had been a higher priority - Kiwami 2 on PC was fantastic.
