Confirmed at two local Target stores this morning in the San Diego area. It looks like Driver 3DS might be getting a universal price drop as TRU had it for that price as well today.

Picked up gears about a week ago. Going to pm at Bestbuy and get 10 bucks back. Maybe if I go in my target uniform they'll be more likely to pm lol.

Also if you are lucky enough (and the target clearance gods smile upon you) the GoW3 LE is clearanced. Lowest price reported is $38 with a few $59.98s.

Local target employee tried to screw me over. Walked in and asked if he had the GoW3 LE. said no. So asked if he could check the system using a scanner. So he did and said he didn't have any. Walked over to CS and asked an older lady (which I figured knew nothing about games) she said they had 1 and it was $59.98.

Manager was behind the counter, so I looked at her and said "amazing that you show 1 in stock when Robert said there wasn't any showing in stock". She said she would help me and walked over to find it behind the gated area for electronics.

You can guess the rest of the story. I decided not to purchase it, just hate the local employee that hoards the good deals as this wasn't the first time I saw something stashed behind the counter.

So you went through all that trouble, asking multiple people to look it up for you, even got the manager to lend a helping hand to locate it in the store...and you still didn't buy it? Yeah that's showing them!

In all honesty the count could have been off. I had a product in my hand and it was clearance that came out in a pull. The store showed zero in stock even when scanning the physical product. Next time you see him stashing tell the manager. That's something clearly laid out for team members to know.

Fine by me. It literally took 5 minutes and the LE was $60, which is more than I paid for mine. Was only looking cause some said it was as low as $40. But now the manager at least knows that it is happening.

Take 5 minutes now to point out an employee that has screwed me over plenty of times by stashing items; or just continue to take it up the ... ? Easy answer for me.

Wouldn't care about if it wasn't stashed. If he got it before his shift then he is more than welcome to hoard it. When he stashes it till later and it's showing inventory thats my cutting off point.

Another unadvertised price drop, in-store only:

The guitar and game bundle was also reduced. I think it was either $40 or $50. It definitely wasn't the usual price of $80.
 
I went to the Macedonia store today, and L.A. Noire had a "price cut" (not temporary price cut) tag of $39.99. I guess this is due to the Complete Edition coming soon.
