Target Red Card deals: Xbox Series X: $475, Xbox Series S: $285

This morning at 8am PDT when the new Xbox consoles go live for preorder, don't forget that using your Red Card at Target gets you an extra 5% off the price of the console, and anything else that you might purchase, including Xbox gift cards. Also, some Red Card users are finding a Circle coupon in their Target app for an extra 5% off when buying anything this week with your Red Card, YMMV. That could save you a little more cash than the prices listed above, if you have that deal in your app. This is the cheapest way to get a Series X or S outside of buying discounted Xbox gift cards, and purchasing the consoles directly from Microsoft.

I got that one also, but it only lasts for this week, and the Series X|S comes out in November. So, $10 off for store pickup won't work in this case, as it expires this Saturday.

Yeah, if you checkmark your circle coupons to redeem them, they automatically get taken out of the qualifying products when you check out.

Well, even if the extra 5% doesn't come off, Red Card still gives you 5% off everything, and free shipping. So, you'll save the $25, and the $6.99 that they usually charge for shipping.

Thank you for the info! The coupon worked! Saved $48. Took a million attempts to get the order to go through. I had it in my cart just before 11:00. Order didnt go through until 11:26. Never got an order confirmed through browser but received order info by email and now also showing in order history. Wild

Also found this nice little surprise this morning (I had planned to order from Best Buy but their site still says coming soon).  Nice that the 5% redcard deal and the 5% bonus redcard coupon stacked on this for $48 off.  Also had two $5 gift cards from something I don't really remember saved to my account. 

I'll take 10% off vs 5% back in rewards at Best Buy. 

 
Thanks for posting about this OP. Even though the exclusions said Xbox isn't eligible, I was able to get a preorder in for the Series X for $479.44 after the 10% off and taxes. That's quite a bit cheaper than through Amazon, which is totaling to $546.24 instead. A nice savings of $66.80. I'm just hoping Target honors the coupon and/or orders.

 
I used the 5% bonus from redcard and the circle bonus 5% for a total of 10% off the Series S I ordered

Unfortunately I already have buyer's remorse and I just blew this coupon on an item I should probably return. Oops.

That is weird, my coupon didnt say anything about Xbox being excluded. Either way, it worked and we saved almost $50! That is why I also picked up a pre-order at Amazon, just in case Target decides to cancel their orders.

Dang, I should have kept at it. I got it in my cart but wasn't able to check out after trying about a hundred times for about 10 min. Congrats to all of you that were able to pre-order one.

 
I should have got in on this deal. I had a bunch of discounted Microsoft credit and by the time their website was working properly for me to try to order the console, they were all gone everywhere. Next generation I'm just going Target all of the way.

Bloody MS credit ... I’m locked in now, so I guess fingers crossed that they allocate just as much stock to their own store as Target and BB received. Still can’t believe they sold out first.

What happened for some of us was the item was already in our carts but wasn't showing in the quick view cart icon in top right corner. I had planned ahead for this & already had a bookmark for my cart only. Once i started seeing post about refreshing your cart i just kept refreshing that bookmart until it was there finally showing in my cart. Took a couple tries to get an order finally placed. Weird thing was 20 mins later i opened my cart again and behold another Series X was in my cart available for purchase. I didn't want to risk my current preorder so i of course deleted it but think they must have a QUEUE system that do to DDOS type lag it queued up 2 preorders into cart even though i never tried another preorder after my original purchase was completed.
