Target will have Wii systems on Sunday, Dec 3rd.

Yea target sold out near me as well.

So did Best Buy sell any this morning? I noticed that it wasn't in their weekly ad this week and there was no line at all this morning, so I assumed they didn't have any for sale.

didn't see anyone in line at best buy , toys r us or circuit city in Killeen, Tx so I'm not sure but its worth a shot to call them as soon as they open.
Got to Target in Frederick MD at 7:30 and was 6th in line. At around 7:50, an employee came out to let another employee in and told us that if we are here for the wii there arent any. When asked why it was in the weekly ad she claimed it was a 'misprint'. When asked if they would do rainchecks she locked the door. Target sucks.
You could have gotten at least a raincheck or the gift card in the amount for the Wii. You should have waited until they opened and claimed the ad to be a false advertisement!

By the way... Went at 6:35 Am (woke up late) and was #25 of 34 in line. They had spots for people until about 7:15ish and they opened at 8. This was in Strongsville, OH.

I sent an email on their website, but i doubt if it amounts to anything.

I thin kcertain regions are doing different days. Here in Lexington they done it today, back home in Cincinnati they are doing it on the 6th I believe.

They sold them during the week, as my friend was lucky enough to call and get one on Wednesday. An almost similar thing happened at the Columbia store, they opened this morning with three.

Went @ 6 and was around 20th in line. Got informed there were more at TRU nearby, and went there. I didn't want to stay at Target cause they didn't know how many they were gettin' and they only had about 24 on launch. I got my voucher @ 7:30 @ Tru. My feet were freezing. Next (if there ever is one) I gotta remember my boarding socks.
No luck here. I went to sterling target at 8am, and they were barren. They only got in 12 wii's. Everywhere else had a line that took up remaining stock. Sham. Oh, best buy didn't get any.
Meh, I was there at 6:15am (couldn't sleep), 15th in line...best part was when they told us the others in the area (Reston & Leesburg) had 30-40. In spite of a "confirmed" 40 at Reston by the Sterling Target staff, there were only 30, and they were already spoken for by 6:45 (they told us at ~6:30). Could have been worse, though, I was only there for 15 minutes, meanwhile at least one guy who had obviously slept there missed out...I might just wait a few more weeks.

That's a bummer dude. I was at the Reston Best Buy early on Sunday morning following Thanksgiving. Got there at 7:30am, there were about 20 people, which grew to about 80-90 by the time the store opened for Wiis (at 9:30am, 30 minutes early to take care of the crowd). They had 56 systems, and used the ticket system.

I'm from SoCal and was just visting Reston for my cousin's wedding, so I had the time (vacation) to go and wait. Still, I was surprised at how crowded it eventually got. And I had seen that Target too...drove by it a few times to get to the 267. Hope you get one eventually.

Got to Target at 6:30 in Oxford Valley/Langhorne, PA. They had 57... i was number 51. 30 people were there by 5 AM and got the first round of tickets. The rest were handed out at 7:15. I was shocked at how nice and organized the Target people were with all of this.
Holy crap I can't believe they are still selling out shipments this fast. Hopefully this will continue for the foreseeable future.
It's good for Nintendo, but I hope we don't have the forehead slapping of DS Lite inventory problems from Japan earlier this year with the Wii. At this rate it's not going to be easy to find the Wii or accessories until Feb.

I went to Target (Covina, CA) at 4:30am. I was third in line. The other guys had been in line since 4am and 4:15:am respectively. The 42 Wiis were all spoken for by about 6am (the store manager came out and announced the quantity at 6). Cool, friendly crowd and we were walked in single file through the electronics section being handed what we asked for and got escorted to a register. Well worth the wait and kudos to my target for being this smooth at handling things.

I got to the local target at about 7:40. 12th in line, but they only had 8 Wiis. Went to Circuit City, a line of 15 guys in chairs, said CC only had 15 and basically told me off. Their inflections were kinda arsholish. Went to another Target, already out, went to another Circuit City, they had handed out 30 vouchers. I waited a couple hours to see if all the voucher people showed and they did, or else I was gonna take one once their vouchers ended at noon. Well..hearing that these shipments are supposed to be weekly...guess i'll give it another go next week, but get there an hour earlier at least.

I got my wii this morning at the State College, PA Target. My friend and I were first in line last night at 10pm. We talked to the manager and he confirmed that there were 24. By 3 am there were about 20 in line. By 5am all of them were spoken for. By 7am about 50 people had lined up for a chance, but they didn't get anything when the tickets were handed out. At 8am, the doors opened and it was a full on rush to the electronics because they had extra remotes.

So in the end.. I got:
Wii
Nunchuck and Wiimote
Budokia 2

only 10 hours of freezing :)

NICE!
