Tekken 5: DR for PS2?

Does anyone know of any possible rumors that this game'll be released for PS2?

I think it's big mistake for Sony to make it PSP exclusive. Having to have 2 PSP's to play 2 player hardly seems worth it and arcade mode has very little replay value. I dunno about wireless connections on the PSP though. Do they actually get you into a global/national server or does it only connect to whoever is around you?

Umm...portability should be a big factor right off the bat. Supposedly this is the biggest PSP game of the year. Maybe they're just trying to push PSP sales and then port it to the PS2...hopefully...maybe....please?

Tekken: Dark Resurrection is ad-hoc only for multiplayer, so it's only for those who have PSPs in the local vicinity. Luckily, Tekken: DR has game sharing as well so others don't need a copy of the game to get into a local match.

I never understood why people are wanting to see PSP-to-PS2 ports so much, anyway. Kinda defeats the purpose of the PSP having some killer portable games when there's a want to move them to home consoles (i.e. GTA: Liberty City Stories)...

It's just a tease to own Tekken 5 for PS2. DR has all the move edits, extra costumes, stages, more characters...actually I just want them to put it on PS2 so they can get it online. PS2 needs some online fighters...just to bring back the arcade experience.

Online fighters on U.S. PS2 is not happening. I can see a good possibility when the PS3 comes out though.

It won't be coming to PS2. Namco is busy working on Tekken 6, for PS3 right now.

Tekken DR is a good reason to own a PSP, because IMO, it's the best Tekken ever.

Hasn't every Tekken besides Tekken 4 been "the best Tekken ever"?

The series surpasses itself with each installment. Good games tend to do that. Tekken 4 was good graphically but the elevation changes and lack of characters is what shot it down.
