If you're new to Tekken then you're better off playing revolution. The bounds and tag assaults are not present in T7 and this is probably the hardest Tekken ever made.

A lot of the bound moves and combos are obsolete in Tekken 7.

Unfortunately not true. EA abolished theirs a while back, but a lot of publishers still have them, at least for older games. There was a big stink a while ago when a few Codemasters games were on Games with Gold but didn't include the online pass.

There's still a $10 online pass for this game on the marketplace. No idea if you need it or not with the Games on Demand version:

You don't need it for the digital copy. That's only if you buy it used physical and the insert is missing or the code was already used.
