Terrell Owens gone until at least the Super Bowl

first of all afc nfc... whos better doesn't matter.. cuz its all football teams... and one is the champ in the end... nfc had a streak.. then the afc. Plus records don't matter come playoff time... everyteam knows what it must do to get to the playoffs... and however they get there.. they get there.. and the playoffs weed out the crappy teams.

People don't like TO cause he dances and is flamboyant.. but in his defense.. all he does is make the game fun and dances (while other players are charged with rape, drugs etc) . Like he says don't like what he does, keep him out of the endzone. And to call him a pussy n shit is just stupid.. the guy is huge and has 1200 yards receiving and 14 tds.. he is good.
now being the #1 eagles fan on cager and a regular instigator of my eagles infused power i will put this to an end.
This is the eagles year does not matter if TO is out or not we have 2 games to win in freezing PHILLY to make it to the bowl, no problem considering one of them will probably be a dome team(atlanta).
Next when the bowl hits TO WILL BE BACK
its in like over a month and he will be healed by then
and we all know a 50%+ TO is better than a 100% any other reciever in the nfl save moss(who wont be there)
Mcnabb in primetime in florida? dam anyhting can happen
so everyone that thinks the know shut the f*k up and watch
He has an outside chance of coming back for the Superbowl. He has to have surgery on his ankle. He could return, but the odds are less than 50/50.

I'm disappointed because I wanted the Pats to play Philly with a healthy TO. I love watching the Patriots shut down marquee players.

It’s not so much his dancing as it is his attitude and his interviews. He pulled a gamefreak789 and strait up said Jeff Garcia was gay among many other things.

I didn't think the injury to Terrell Owens was that serious. Too bad it happened late in the season. I still think the Philadelphia Eagles will finally get to the Super Bowl. Hopefully, T.O. will be able to play by then...

Everyone seems to hate Terrell Owens, but, he is the best receiver in the NFL...

Probably true. But I'd still take Troy Brown instead.

He's gone for the year. They were discussing his injury on the locla news and the orthepedist said that barring an act of god he should not play.

I have a high ankle sprain that occured a dayu after. The swelling has gone down by at least half but now I have some bruising which I wasn't expecting. I saw the doctor today but I didn't take off my sock. So neither he nor I knew about the bruising. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow and ask about that. If it could herals something more serious. It's to be expected I guess.

How can TO be a pussy, his damn ankle fractured, that shit is painful, had it happened to me, I was up and walking 2 days later

I fractured my ankle a month ago, but thats not his biggest problem. He has to have surgery for the sprain, anytime you go under the knife, its going to take a lot longer to heal.

Good luck with Todd Pinkston as your #1 receiver.
They should still win the NFC and like you said anything can happen though.

Well, I can't say I'll miss him the next several weeks.

Now since Philly is finished (sorry, without TO they are the same team that has choked the past three seasons), all Carolina needs to worry about is Atlanta.

Looks like my prediction of a Super Bowl rematch may come true after all.

Go Panthers.

Damn, Tom Brady just did what we in Detroit call a "Scott Mitchell" impression.
What was he thinking about when he threw that INT???

There goes any shot at home field for the Pats. There's no way the Steelers are going to lose BOTH of their last two games...

It's possible though, they play Baltimore, the only team to beat them this season, and Buffalo, probably the league's second hottest team right now behind only Indy.

I agree - although it is unlikely it can definitely happen (this is the NFL after all). However, that also assumes the Pats will beat the Jets this week and I think that will be a tough game. I won't even talk about the 49ers game because I'm pretty sure the Pats can handle them...

What people know is that with TO gone this is basically the same Eagles team that's found a way to choke the last three years. Jevon Kearse helps on defense but they're nowhere near as explosive on offense without TO. One reason their defense plays well is that a lot of the time they're playing from well out in front and the opposing team has to throw and they know it. That won't be happening as much without TO and that's bad news for a team with a banged up D-line.

My cousin works at the hospital Terrell Owens is getting his surgery at. He said when he got their early in the morning a bunch of people were at the front of the hospital wearing Raven jerseys. He's going to see him tomorrow. I told him to get a picture of him, and if he does, I'll upload it and post it.

The funny thing is you can see the hospital from my cousin's place when you look out at window or balcony. I remember seeing it when I went to Baltimore this past Thanksgiving. I just thought I'd post this since I found it pretty interesting.

while people think the eagles are only comprised of TO( i agree he is a big part of the offense) Westbrook is also a big key and makes the offense dangerous... granted without TO the recieving core is hurting big time. But I still think the eagles are the team to beat in the NFC. The latest games the eagles have won has been because of the D not the O.

TO is awesome.

He could be a little less cocky, but i mean he's young, one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and his team is doing awesome. He's just having fun with it.

Dancing after scoring a TD is pretty much so part of the game now. When you're watching a football game on tv and the team you're wanting to win scores, you get a little pumped.

When you're actually on the field and you're part of the team, and you team scores, its a million times more exciting. It's even more so when you are the one who actually scores.

If you've never been in this position, you really shouldnt judge people who do get that pumped when they score etc.

But like i said i know this guy is pretty damn cocky though.

Also i think it was real classy how the Ravens fans showed up to the hospital with their Ravens Jerseys on.

I don't think most people care about the celebrations, its some of the things he says. Like for example, calling his old quarterback gay.

I can't stand Terrel and everyone claims ohh now they eagles are so great cause they have him and he's the best reciver in the NFL. Thats complete Bull! The Eagles past 3 years got into the playoffs without the help of any decent reciver. The best they had was, thier now crappy B reciver Pinkstin, who I think is still pretty good, but do you hear about him no. Plus D Nabb who they claim to be such a great running QB, I love him and think he's great, but thats because he had the ablitiy to run just like some many other QB's, but they don't get to use it cause they have go recivers, So people this year are making me so mad calling the Eagles all about defence because they finaly reallzed that Westbrook is actualy good and got some overated highly paid reciever to pass to, but still in my mind, you gotta still say Eagles are about the Deffence and if they don't take that great deffence title back, that they had the last 2 years they will never even get a chance to have TO play this year again.

He called Jeff Garcia "gay"? Isn't Garcia fucking Carmella Descare, the playboy playmate of the year? That's about as far from gay as you can get.
As for the 49ers if all their games were against Arizona they'd be 14-0 right now instead of 2-12.

Yeah, Owens first called Garcia gay in his book and then again in an interview.

well, if by some chance the eagles make it to the super bowl AND t.o. is able to play, how much of a factor will t.o. be?

if you remember, in the middle of the season randy moss got injured and took him awhile to get back to his top form.

but hell, i could be wrong.

yea i was just saying that acting cocky on the field and stuff should be expected, but usually when he's acting cocky off the field he looks like a dick, like in his christmas commercial for nfl 2k5.

I like the guy athletically because he's a real good receiver, but is a little conceited.
