I don't mind the Genesis poster, but nothing on the card for that show makes me want to see it. Kazarian deserves a push, yes, but I don't see him getting it at that PPV. Odds are, it'll be like Chris Harris's HUGE "OMG HE'S BREAKING THE GLASS CEILING HERE IN TNA!" push where he got one main event, and then went back to doing jack shit for four months.

I think we should scrounge up money to buy Guyver a front row seat to one of the ROH shows...provided he wears a John Cena shirt to the event.

Actually, let's up the ante. You gotta COSPLAY as John Cena. IIRC, you don't sport much hair, so we can work with this.

Big white hi-tops (Reebok pumps if you're money)
Camo cargo shorts (plain olive or green camo)
John Cena t-shirt, to be chosen by the wrestling thread
John Cena hat
Wristbands (no fewer than 4).

You game? I've got $15 to go in.

And, since you're sitting front row, any wrestler that lands on the mat in front of you has to receive the ol' "You can't see me" treatment.

I like ROH well and good, but I was just sitting here thinking that you could easily be the biggest heel of the event by acting like a mega Cena fan.
 
Oh man. He needs to bring a big sign with a waving "You can't see me" hand on it.

I don't know what would elicit more groans from me, the Cena cosplay or the frothing internet wrestling fan reaction.

Most of you have probably seen this already, but it's worth checking out again. It's the "history of the WWF" montage that was played on Raw several years ago. I just watched it again myself... and dammit, I don't care, I'll be the first to admit that I got all teared up about halfway through it. Maybe because it's my first time seeing it since I started my wrestling training, I dunno! But any lifelong WWF fan should check it out. Even if - I'd say ESPECIALLY if - you're disgusted with the current product. It'll remind you of how good mainstream wrestling has the POTENTIAL to be when they get things right.

So kick back and mark out for times of old (and not-so-old)!!!

If you guys are willing to pay for shipping to guyver, With my artistic skills, I will make a HUGE Sign complete with camouflauge/Glitter/ giant cartoony picture of Cena, etc.

I remember this. Good memories throughout but a couple things struck me.

1. They showed Bruno Sammartino. Wow. I figured it'd jump from Billy Graham to Bob Backlund to Hogan and onward.

2. There was certainly some wrestlecrap back in the day. Initially it seems less like wrestlecrap because we're looking back with a sense of nostalgia but damn if Undertaker "crucifying" people on his symbol isn't stupid. Now was it as stupid as Judy Bagwell on a pole? No. Is it as stupid as a "spinna" belt? I'd call it a tie.

I have no money to offer the John Cena cosplay project. I'm going to have enough trouble scraping together CoD4 funds. The fact that I enjoyed the SvR 08 demo isn't helping things either. I beat the everloving shit out of Orton with the Undertaker. Busted him open and everything. It was sort of mindless but viscerally satisfying.
 
So you're saying that not only can kids pick on me now, but with those , they can beat me up too?

Everything over there is ugly...wrist bands in the second picture are ok.
