I had some rather particular questions regarding Oblivion I was hoping a TES vet might be able to help with:
-I want to raise my skills, but I don't want to level up. Let's say I improve enough skills so that I'm ready to advance to the next level(getting the message saying "you should rest and meditate etc etc."), am I able to continue raising my skills without having to sleep(and thus level up) or do they halt any further leveling until you sleep? If you ARE able to continue without leveling, how does that affect your level progress in the future... ie if I finally decide to sleep at level 1 and I managed to master all of my skills would I only advance to level 2 or would I go up a whole bunch of levels automatically?
-I wanted to do a little trick where I took replaced the food on a table with poisonous apples(I forget which one, but everyone from one of the castles gathers every evening around a giant table to eat). Do NPCs eat food that's placed on the tables or do they soley eat whatever it is in their pockets?
-I'm currently playing on the PS3, but I might be buying a gaming rig soon and moving the Oblivion experience over there. Just out of curiosity, are there any fun mods for Oblivion? I see that there's alot of "tweaking" mods, but is there anything like area/damage effects on telekinesis spells, or importing Fallout 3's VATS to Oblivion, things of that sort?
