Test Drive Eve of Destruction disappearing

I picked this one up at launch, and really like it. It's no Burnout 3, but it's fun in it's own way.

Still, I rarely see this game in stores. Target carried the PS2 version, but never seemed to get the Xbox version. Now, it's all gone there.

Gamestop doesn't carry the game anymore. But what's wierd is no one has really low prices on this either...

Same thing happened with Metal Slug 3. You can't find that game anywhere now (new).

Metal Slug 3 is new here at Hastings.. hell, they even have a new/sealed Operation Genesis.

Is Eve of Destruction a decent game? I recently got Destruction Derby Arenas and it's pretty below average. It feels like a ps1 game with loose controls and so-so graphics. I was looking for a more realistic demolition derby game with more car variety and this one looks to fit the bill. I was just wondering what anybody's thoughts were ?

Well, I'm the OP and I really like it. I know a few people knocked the game for not having a sensation of high speed.

What makes it worthwhile for me: Driving a Hearse around a track while people are trying to ram and destroy you. You see a smoking car you're about to lap, and BAM! --- you plow right through it.

That's what games are for.

When's the last time you saw THAT in a store? I saw it at launch and picked it up from my cousin, but I've not seen it in over a year - I literally see Intelligent Qube and Suikoden 2 more than MotoGP2 on XBox.

I see Metal Slug 3 all over the place ... CC, TRU, EB in the mall all have it new & sealed, but it's still $40

I managed to get a Moto GP 2 for XBox during for about $12 during that Toys R Us green tag 70% thing. Sold it on ebay for $50 and that was that.

I really like Test Drive Eve of Destruction, pretty fun games and the many race/derby types are fun. It does a good job of bringing your inner-redneck out.

I have TEST DRIVE:EoD. I picked it up at GameRush for $10 trade in deal. It's a pretty fun game.....only problem is a bit too slow at times, I wish the cars went faster
