This Morning......i got my mega haul when i orderd my MOUNTAIN DEW XBOX!!! With Project Gothom Racing 2! Lots of people here help me and i wanted to say thanks.

YEah I remember seeing something similar to what WSB saw probably. I think their total was somewhere around $500 bucks or something. Might as well try and get one on ebay for half that if you are seriously thinking about buying all that Mt. Dew.

I think the point of the promotion was for people who already buy tons of moutain dew anyway. I doubt anyone went out and bought Mt Dew for the XBOX and then threw away the drinks because it was such a great deal.
 
I think you'd probably be suprised Mr. Unoriginal. The promotion is to sell as much Dew as possible...casual buyers will buy much more to get a xbox and those that don't drink it normally may drink it to get an Xbox. And there probably are some fools who will buy a bunch they'll never drink just to get a xbox.

Think about how fat you'd become between the sugar and the high fructose corn syrup. You might get the xbox for "free", but you'd need to spend more money on food every day for the rest of your life.

Are you serious? This was a promotion to sell Dew? You mean that PepsiCo. was just tryin' to make money? Damnitt! Fooled again!

The real money is people drinking because they think they might get one... then either they realize how long it's going to take and give up, or they don't and the promotion ends.
 
Are the Xboxes gone now??

Because I don't know if my friend realized this yet, he has enough codes and was waiting for them to release the Xbox.

I read about that in my law textbook last semester. Interesting case and I was kind of surprised that the verdict was that it was unreasonable to think that a person could get enough points for the jet and the person suing Pepsi lost. After the guy and his friends spent all that money buying Pepsi, they were probably really annoyed.

There was some commercial years ago showing people what they could redeem pepsi points for. At the end of the commercial someone was shown flying a harrier jet and it had something like 1,000,000 points below it. Some tools actually got ahold of that many points and demanded the jet. The commercial was later altered to read something like "not part of promotion" when they showed the jet scene. Check out the Stampy episode of the Simpsons for a similar story...

Congrats, but if that XBOX is the same one i saw in a magazine then it is FUGLY. I'd keep it as a collector's item.

i kinda like the green color of it. only 2000 were made also.....so thats kinda cool too! Now to sit in this foam chair and wait for 10-12 weeks for my order to get here :)
 
I was hoping to get a Mountain Dew Xbox. :(

I work at a Grocery store and dug through garbages since March, and had a couple people at work help me..I have close to or over 700 points now, and always checked it. I woke up at noon, and came here, and saw this thread last Thursday, and then checked and it was sold out. I was pretty depressed the whole day.

Then I checked here again a couple hours later and someone wanted my promotion code for the free Xbox game with Live referral thing, so when I tried to find the e-mail I had gotten, it was gone from my Inbox. That was a sucky day.

I am hoping so bad I can get this last Xbox offer, or all these months of saving was for nothing, I'll most likely actually cry if I miss out on it.
