Seriously.
Yesterday I took my first (of three) doctoral preliminary exams this year; long story short, my plans (my classes, my funding, my progress) for the next two years are contingent upon a lot of things, one of which was passing these exams.
The vs forums helped "condition" me for sitting in a room for 6 hours and typing my hear out (while also being able to cite relevant data). I was, honestly, as nervous as can be approaching this test. Failing divine interevention on behalf of a spiteful god, I passed (or, I'm about 80% certain I passed).
For that, I owe you all a beer (and
you if you don't drink).
